You know what he means MH. Don't try to spin it. He basically said at least we were in a position to defend our title and we didn't get whooped. We lost. Your team won. It is amazing calling a comeback a whooping. You would have thought by reading your post we got beat by 3 tds. If anything we choked, or course yall choked your whole championship defending season away down the stretch. I digress. Oh well next year sure is going to be interesting for you hornets. Like MD said to us last year. You do know ASU is on a 4 game losing streak right now with a loss to Valley yeah that Valley(thanks MH) and your perennial daddy TU. Now your main tormentor Comegy is about to saddle up at JSU. I hope ole Coe can recruit like Cole.

ummm, you didn't win the SCG, so you didn't defend ANYTHING. And I would call giving up 5 TDs in a row getting WHOOPED, slice it anyway you want. And JR, as for tormentors, you might need to be concerned with the one your main rival has, seeing how Pete can't beat him.

The problem for JSU will be those teams that have consistantly beaten them over the last few years, who won't lay down the "throne" so easily next year. In other words, if JSU beat all the teams that beat them, then it will be a "let down". Bell, in the minds of many turned JSU into a sellar dwellar. BTW, SU will be fine. We have some pieces of our puzzle ready for next year. can ASU say the same.......no wonder coe was applying at NC A&T

You know it's that dayum white folks mentallity......."if they win by 1 dayum purnt, it was a great V-I-C-T-O-R-Y for them" BUT "when they are beaten by a touchdown, then they defended themselves well and it was a minor victory for them. You've heard of the 'Happy Hooker'.........I guess you call them the 'Happy Losers'???

You know the excuses they always give........
1. Y'all won because all of our great players were hurt...
2. Y'all won because our starting qb was hurt..........
3. Y'all won because it was raining on our side of the field...
4. Y'all won because we didn't play the game in a dome....
5. Y'all won because the moonlight blinded our receivers.....
6. Y'all won because it was cold outside......
7. Y'all won because it was a down year in the SWAC.....
8. Y'all won because we missed one of our payments towards the 200k....
9. Y'all won because the Commissioners Office wanted y'all to win....
