NT, any mention of working a deal w/ PV? :read:

Whenever PV is willing to "P2P" a home game in Jackson... BRING IT ON!

and No, I'm not speaking that internet peer2peer talk... P2P means "PAY TO PLAY" :D
SU can tell you guys who to contact and how to get started!

Hoooooold UP NT, I hoope them n*gg*s using the visitors locker room? Any word?

Now there was talk about that... but they don't know what's the bigger risk.... I mean it WAS the VISITORS locker room they broke into at Mumford... so maybe we'll just put them there and they can steal their own stuff. ... what u think?

:shame: dayum shame.

I don't trust them using our home locker rooms. I just don't.
With all the JSU logos and stuff in there... they would be too tempted to deface and vandalize the property.
Lets just put them in the Visitors locker room and have them steal their own sh*t.

i agree 2dapoint, we got waaaay to many valuables in there....they aint use to nothing, they have our players sitting in hallways...o heyal nah...let them dress on the bus, we need our visitors locker room for the next week victim.

I would think that they'll put them in the visitor's locker room. Don't Alcorn use the visitor locker room even when they are the home team?

And Southern....no comment.

Dayum SU-ers?!! Ain't yall folks got NO clout as to where you'll be playing your games? What happened to your so-called strong alumni and booster club? They couldn't stop yall from having the game in Jackson?!!
I guess not.:smh:

Ain't no way in hell JSU folks would put up with playing a home game in Baton Rouge. Somebody would be in real big trouble.

Has the game definitely been moved to Jackson?
Did somebody white tell yall that?
Ill wait for Chuck Stinson to say it before I beleive it.
There is noway SU folks will allow a home game to come to Jackson...noway...Jackson MS...the folks they hate the most. I know Gram is their chief rival, but SU folks wouldnt piss on JSU folks if we was on fire, so GR knows they are NOT going to move a home game to Jackson. The economy must really be bad.

I bet they start collecting money from them suites from now on.

This is FN sad....I still dont believe it.

GR wants to take an hiatus from the board...but if this is true, GR might stick around.

But GR... JSU is all about Helping other schools and su needs our help right now.
No telling what might happen if they don't move their home game to Jackson.

I'm worried.
Something just not right... to many folks not paying su their money. :shame:

GR should be an administrator for one of these poor SWAC schools. GR could go to A&M or ASU and make them a force in D1AA. In order to make SU viable again, GR would have to change the entire culture of that place. But GR could do it.

The first thing I would do to turn SU around is bring a bible to the office...

You do realize that all Tony Clayton has done is make it even easier for us to mess over y'all if y'all can't beat us .... again, in your own backyard.

If this is true, Comegy is about to relive his nightmare and Dominque Johnson can't even help him this time.

One thing we do know .... y'all will be RUNNING to get in there .... and give SU your money. Thanks! Y'all not as evil as some say you are.

At least they want have to beg their dumb administrators to play after 3:00PM since The Nations control game time and has taken their stadium from them ............again but this time with the money too....... :emlaugh:

But it aint their stadium, they just play there.

it's a so-so report for JSU. For refreshers, APR is the academic progress report. 925 is the key number. Anything below 925 is where penalties can begin.

Ok...

No serious penalties this time around, but JSU football did get a "public notice" for having a score of 879. That's not a good score in the first place. The even worse news is the fact that it dropped from 902 last year. Going in the wrong direction...

JSU had seven sports under the 925 level, which is better than nine last year. All seven are men's sports. Baseball (916), men's basketball (912), men's cross country (920), football, men's indoor track (911) and men's outdoor track (920) are not subject to penalty because the team is "performing better than the institution's general student body, or based on institutional, athletics and student resources."

JSU actually improved in cross country, tennis, both men's tracks, bowling, women's cross country, soccer, women's tennis, both women's tracks and volleyball.

But things went down in baseball, football, men's golf, women's basketball and softball.

Women's golf and men's basketball stayed the same.

Ole Miss and Alcorn State are the only other two schools in the state to get penalized. Ole Miss lost three football scholarships. Alcorn State is limited to 7.45 baseball scholarships. 11.7 is the Division I limit. Games are reduced from 56 to 50. It also lost practice time.

Yall can joke all yall want, but I bet all of yall'll be clamoring to get up in that joint......

From a $$ standpoint it makes sense.. More fans can see watch the game in Jackson (I guess until the Mumford expansion is complete).

It's really not much of a 'home-field' advantage for us anyway, cause our fans are so 'fair weather', so it'll just be another great atmosphere and (hopefully) a good game....

And this wouldn't be the first time JSU played in the Vet, sat on the 'home' side but wore white. Do yall remember the playoff game we hosted against TennState (back in the day)? TennState showed-up with their 'blues' and we played the 1st half with everybody in blue. You couldn't distinguish the teams. Gordon sent Hughes (:D) back to campus and got our white jerseys (for the 2nd half). Anybody remember that??
