Jackson State No. 1 in Division 1-AA attendance. SWAC won it's 24th consecutive titl

Jackson State won it's second attendance title in the past three years averaging 29,067 to edge Grambling's 27,172 and Yale's 25,533. Delaware was fourth with 20,504 and Southern University
last year's champ was fifth at 19,370.

The SWAC won it 24th consecutive 1- AA title, averaging 12,417.
The Ivy League was second at 10,797 and the MEAC was third at
10,519.

Tuskegee reclaimed the Division II attendance throne in 2001
averaging 12,957 per game for it's third crown in four years.
Morehouse was fifth at 10,323.

The SIAC captured its 10th straight Division II conference title averaging 7,125 per game.

I think giggly missed the point. That was, that JSU is leading 1-AA in attendance again. 29k has go to be close to a record avg for 1-AA. Does Bama State's stadium even hold 29k?
 
Nawwww BIGCAT, 29k ain't close. JSU's record for attendance is 34k.

And Bama State's stadium may hold that many, but it damn sure never sees that many.
 
Way to go SWAC!!! Let's keep it up. While we are at it, we need to have the fans of the schools in the SWAC Championship game and all HBCU alumnus within a 100 mile radius of Birmingham to set ridiculus records ofr next year's SWAC Championship game.

Let's show the other Division I-AA conference yet again how to do it.

Where did these numbers come from since the NCAA site has not been updated.

BigCat. That is what it has always been for those Bumble Butts from ASSu. If they could beat JSU they have accomplished something. See the thing is this. Read carefully, cause I will only type this once.

Others, like ASSu, measure thier winning seasons by setting standards like beating JSU. If they do not beat JSU, then they do not have a winning season.

We, JSU, do not have standards as such. We measure ourselves by our own performances on the field. We look at the way we played on the field from the week before and work on improving our techniques. We really dont care who is on the other side of the ball from us, cause they are just tryin to play to our potentials.

LAST YEAR ALABAMA STATE AVERAGED 15,749 FANS PER GAME.
JACKSON STATE AVERAGED 11,690 FANS IN A 60,000 SEAT STADIUM! :idea:
