Harold Jackson needs to be fired

That is all.... He inherited a team that won the Eastern Division the last two years and regressed them to the worst team in the SWAC.

Hey...you must not know football...:lol:. He's rebuilding this team into a team that can one day beat Valley and PV.

The rationale to fire someone who took your team to numerous conference championship games for an old fart has never made sense to me. Of course you will have some discipline issues on the team but every school deals with them...

The big payback brother. Valley is only going to get stronger. The Delta boys don't have depth yet.

I could actually understand why JSU fired Comegy. Couldn't understand why the school hired Jackson, though.

I remember the AD saying at SWAC Media Day that the school wanted to hire a big name familiar with the university and Jackson was the guy that fit.

Look, we all make mistakes in life. The best thing to do is admit it sometimes. Firing Comegy was not the problem. He went 1-3 in championship games, and his teams lacked discipline.

The problem is that we did not do a real coaching search. Jackson got hired on some hook-up, buddy stuff and is the worst coach in modern JSU history. It is time to call a spade a spade and a mistake a mistake. Harold Jackson needs to go out to Cali.

Seriously, is he worse than Bell. In his last 4 games, they have put some points on the board. The defense hasn't held up though. And Ivey is young. Comegy made it to the ship with an experienced qb. Ivey has a 1st year coach and a new OC. And the defense has new schemes and they still play undisciplined.

Is this an early decision?

The price tag keeps going up and the seating capacity keeps going down on the domed stadium.

Fobbs is winning with a team that won 1 game in two years. The team just looks horrible. Beyond horrible. He just can't coach.

Fans are so impatient......I think Jackson should get another year or two to fust get HIS players from Mississippi den Texas in place. TP (the logical one) will tell you jsu has the best coaching staff in the SWAC.

I agree. They should give him at least 5 years FUST before firing him. :emlaugh:
