He could have let us score that last TD. If those sorry ass refs didnt blow that TD play dead that Lebeau took out of DJ's hand, then I would have had my 60.

Remember that when you are on the other end. Doug is getting back what he dished out on his first stint as coach.

Running clock? You don't say. Please tell me Doug didn't ask for a running clock? Has he become Bell?

LOL!!!!!!!!! Doug is about to drive you guys into the ground and Broadway isnt gonna walk through those doors no time in the future. Doug cant recruit or coach the same with the APR in place, so those days are over.
 



GSUs problems are much bigger than DJ. It wouldnt matter if Big Bruce was your QB, you suck in so many other places. You have no talent ANYWHERE on defense. There is some talent at WR/RB and we know DJ can be a decent game manager....and FrankRivers honestly is no better. But your problems are way deeper than DJ.

Doug needs a whole new group of players. He is the best coach in the SWAC. I dont know if you are going to stick in there with him, but his first problem is the lack of talent Bway left him with. The question is if Grambling is going to over react to the last 3 games of the year and force Doug out.

GR, if the the talent is so bad, why ain't Doug playing all his recruits from this year and last year? He does have two recruiting classes under his belt. Doug just can't sign 40 players like he used to with the APR thing. Not to mention since he left and came back, La Monroe and La Tech are better programs than they were in the early 2000s. Things are different GR. Doug might have made a mistake by staying gone from college ball that long. You can't blame all that on Broadway. Not to mention Doug can't coach every aspect of the game. He don't have the same assistants he had back then either. I am shocked you making excuses for Doug. Even Comegy came in and had to deal with Bell recruits and made changes for the better. So if Doug is the best coach in the SWAC then he should have been able to improve in year 2 especially after winning the SCG last year.

Doug came in after the recruiting class of 2011. He has only had one recruiting class. Bway is killing Grambling right now

True he did. He added a few more kids later on that had not signed. I don't know GR, if he has no talent. What does he do for next year and year after? He has to totally rebuild?
 
We had ample talent returning - at least on the field. The entire offensive line (except the LT) are the same guys who started in 2010 and last year. 3 of them even started as sophomores when Frank Warren was a senior. Two of three starting receivers (Sr. Jeremy Hernandez and soph Musa Mahmud signed Day 1 in 2011 before B'way left) is ahead of the 2011 and 2012 guys signed by Doug. On Defense, We had the entire DLine returning last year and 1 was slated to return, All Conference DE Jomarcus Savage who is now at Concordia. Both starting corners were B'way recruits...sophomore corner Hollins signed with us on Day 1 before B'way left. Starting Free Safety Naquan Smith is a senior and two year starter that was scheduled to start as a soph under B'way but had a knee injury. Our starting strong side linebacker split time as a starter under B'way as a sophomore so basically he is a 3 year starter. Middle Linebacker Jacarde Carter was our leading returning tackle... he returned the game winning fumble for a td in last year's SCG. I'm told he left the team 3 weeks ago following an injury and some dispute.

We have talented players left over... they played better with better coaching. It is what it is!
