Like I said before, this young man was on a run oriented team. Doing the math he only averaged ~12-13 passes per game ... completing roughly 8. This isn't bad stats but by no means are they great. Let not make him into a QB that was able to make reads because when you run the ball the majority of the time he was throwing the ball primarily to get people off the line so they can go back and run. From what I understand this is the new JSU stategy, so he should do well. If they ran 50-60 plays a game that means he only threw the ball 12% of the time or they ran the ball 78% of the time.

From what I can tell San Mateo is a rushing team and that is what Bell wants JSU to be but regardless....Haren runs with the vision of a RB so you have to also take his rushing stats into account...also as many others have said...he led that team to many blowouts so he did not play the entire game. I think that he will fit well into out balanced offense. I keep telling all of you that QB is the least of your worries from JSU. Worry about the defense and the ground game.
