JR, go back and reread what Oliver said. He said what he heard and then went on to say that he dont care what happens in the stands or parking lot. He's going to be on the field playing the game. And for the psychology theory, go back and read the other post I made about momentum and adrenaline. As for as these are youngsters, JR. Not all these youngsters are soft. There are some that believe that have some that hang just as low as yours and they will be willing to try you. Alot of today's youngsters seems to show less fear in certain situations. Now that can work both ways too. Good or bad, depending on the situation.

I don't know Beans. I have to agree with Stagg on these kids today being soft. I still trying to wrap my mind around the MENTAL hazing the Boom got suspended for. Just doesn't make sense to me these days. You see it all over the place. Soft arse mofos. :lol:

Since their are no "Temp Bleachers" in the endzone at Mumford this year, Attendance with JSU fans 25,000........with out JSU and The Boom 24,000.

Jagtown you know those tickets have been on sell for a few months now on ticketmasters. I think several people have purchased tickets before we got the 1,000 allotment so you will see more than 1000 JSU fans this weekend.

There were ONLY three people complaining JR, out of a possible 280. That's less than 1 percent, if my calculations are correct, so that throws your theory of today's young people being weak clean outta the water. Besides, it was the parents who complained, NOT the band members, so what does that make them?
 
The true J State fans know that they are welcome at Mumford stadium, just like they know that SU's fans will talk Schyatt to them, but treat them with respect. J State's fans will talk Schyatt back and all will have a good time.

This mess is getting blown way out of hand for some isolated non-sense by individual who were just hanging out of the campus.

Okay, well, what if someone called your wife a "tramp", but didn't go into detail about what she does to be called one? Doesn't she get LABELLED and might be the nicest thing since Eve.

Why would we be mad? Yes, we are known as a racuous group when it comes to supporting our teams, BUT we are not the "violent" or "horror stories" he described without first-hand knowledge. Those elements are ones that we have no control over and that could be outside Memorial, Spinks, Golden Lion or Blackshear Stadium. Why would we be mad? We are being labelled as the group that condones this and we don't. We will talk about you all day, a kind of MENTAL hazing if you will, but for the majority of us, we don't care about putting hands on you. Liquor, unfortunately, throws everything out the window.

The bottom line is he, in his position, put down another SWAC school without first hand knowledge instead of a regular fan like you or me. The Ledger , AP or Advocate wouldn't give a damn if we said it.

Now, as for Clayton, he's a gloryhog. There's no reason to bother the SWAC with this. Comegy's prez has already done what he was supposed to do. However, he needs to get your boy in line. Starting with that dum'ass video ish with Delta State, brother has been punting with foot in mouth much of the year ......

Comegy had no intent on Slandering SU's name. The guy has never experienced JSU/SU game day in Mumford and his only image of it is what other's have painted for him... He believe he was concerned that there wouldnt be ANY fans at all and was not pleased about that.
Soon as saturday hit he will be fine... when he looks back and sees that might white and blue jumping and screaming far off in that corner :jump:

:lmao: Investigation. That's just silly and a waste of time. Go back and read Comegy's comments and you will find nothing about violence. He said it was a hostile environment for JSU and that 100 percent true. The same can be said for any rivalry. I do believe Comegy has a habit of speaking freely to the press and he should watch that because reporters can use his comments in stories like this. However, he needs to get his team ready for that environment.
 



I personally is waiting to here from the "two" leaders of the Mafia(old school) on this issue. Wondering if they feel the same way as their coach? I'll be :read:
 
All this probably came from a few fans that came to an SU game trying to seat where ever they wanted and being pig headed about it( because they'e use to GA ) and probably got put in check .

Y'all really need to bring your fans out more. Not just the ones that actually attended J-Stank

Being in his position, he should've just shut da he!! up. He needs a PR coach, bad. He should know that he must get the facts straight before he goes running off at the mouth, not speaking from any personal experience whatsoever! Regardless of how minute this situation may seem, it should be addressed accordingly. I'm not saying suspension, but an apology? Most definitely...

Beans, people are upset because h said that Baton Roue was not a safe, family, environment. As if to say people in BR are raising their families in a fugging jungle, and that people who send their kids to Southern are sending them to a Zoo or a mad house. I'm offended everytime that thes isolated incidents are mentioned, as if the same thing or similar occurances haven't happened anyplace else!
No one says I don't want t go to Jstate because I might get shot in th Union! or I'm not gonna buy a ticket for this game at Memorial because somone will just rob the ticket booth. Hell, I remember ngroes shooting in memorial during a Jstate v. Alcorn game in the 80s. So I'm on of thos people who will say f u c k Jackson State University and I won't go to Memorial again, and will urge everyone else that I know from BR to do the same. Comegy is a dumb ass, but not that much of a dumb ass. This was a deliberate attack(smack) on myAlma Mater and my hometown. I have emailed everyone that I can think to, to please drop Jstat from the schedule with the new 7 game mandate, and pleas never rotate these bi tches on again, and have urged everyone that I know, and who are offended to do the same. Southern University does not need this foolshness.
If Nick Saban had said the same about LSU the SEC would suspnd him and fine him. Comgy is a classless fool, and so is anyone who agrees with his statement. Fugg his punk ass apology!

On the serious side......the local media(white folks) in BR have been tearing JSU/Comegy up from what my people have told me. Sounds like they took it the same way and they are not even SU fans. I guess Mason's apology made the air down there too. So it aint just SU folks who are upset. LOL.

Sounds like Baton Rouge is too.
