First, my sympathies to the citizens of London and Great Britain.

Hopefully the world will get a leader that?s willing to strike back, innocence life for innocence life. Innocence injured person for Innocence person. Its time for the west to bomb mosques, madrasas and islamic schools. If this is the war they want lets give it to them. You have to fight guerilla war with a guerilla war.

ummmmmm, you do realize that some of the terrorist groups have nuclear bombs or are a couple pieces of plutonium away. Bomb a mosque if you want to..... :smh:
 
I would nuke mecca and medina if they ever did anything with a nuke - Saudi would disapper from the planet - bring it on.

Dude, you sound like one of my co-workers. He's ready to send all immigrants with green cards back to their native land and immigrants with citizenship, he wants them to be spied upon.

olde hornet save your breath. most people on this forum will always give deference to anything except the U.S./the west even though they live in and have all of the privilages and advantages of living life at the highest standard in the world in the west thanks to the U.S. at various times in history doing what needed to be done despite all the criticism. They will be blaming this on Bush and the Jews next, anybody but the people who did it.

i GUESS I am in the middle. I think OH is too far out there on this but I agree with your co-worker.
The US does not have the military depth to do too much. We are already stretched thin with our current obligations.
Further more we are not THAT MUCH superior to a lot of countries. We know better than to fight N. Korea and several other countries Bush has tried to bully. Can you see us fighting China?
We had better stick with diplomacy

Now I could careless about the other conversation you guys are having, but the following statement is past funny!!!! Everything is not for the world to know. Never get caught up in that media talk.

China is not the problem - they have their own problems with islamic terrorist.

You miss my point. The point is that we should stop bullying small countryies that we know we can defeat (really can not defeat them. Iraq is proving that). Then we will not force a formidable country like Korea.
It was China who kicked our butts in Korea. When China entered we ran.
I am presenting problems and not soultions unfortunately. I say that becasue we do need to fight terriorist but where, when, can we select the countries to fight and not fight others? IRAQ WAS NOT THE COUNTRY TO FIGHT.
Who (country) does England retaliate against? Therein is the problem with fighting terrorist.

Ol H, I wish I knew you were kiddin'. Let's say we roll w/your plan of action i.e. nuke everything over there. You know there's no surviving a nuclear bomb right, if the initial blast doesn't get you, the radiation will. The land would become useless instantly, nothing will grow, no way to get the oil which'll really shoot the price of gas thru the roof and wreck economies worldwide. Add to that, the radiation laced dust blown into the surrounding countries and water, and significant amounts could even make it back here to the U.S. Collateral damage is more than a movie, man. Something to think about.

If the islamist bring a nuke to us property - i would nuke mecca and medina in a heart beat. It has to be done. If bush had any balls he would let them know that now!

I agree that we should not be in Iraq, but that has nothing to do with islamic terrorist acts in GB OR USA. They will always give the world an excuse. I am not talking about taking on a nations, but taking on conservative islamist that support the terrorist. In some case it is countries or regions or countries or mosques or madrassas.

You do realize that these conservative islamist are spread throughout the world. And not all conservative Muslims are terrorists. So how do we "take them on"? What your bsically saying is that we declare war on the world's largest religion. Even if that was feasible(and its not), we'd lose.

No you don't know what will happen. And you realize by bombing mecca we'd be taking on millions of Americans as well as some of our most important world allies. I really hope you're just venting. Because what I'm hearing from you now is just.....:shame:
 
Iraq according to the neo-cons was suppose to be quick and easy. After the mess there and no WMDs, I have not heard anything from those who could not wait for that war. Afghanistan is still a mess. If we are going to get the muslims, note that Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, Ahmad Rashad and Muhammad Ali are muslims too.

Appeasement is one thing. Diplomacy and law enforcement are another.

BTW this happened in London not the U.S.

Let's see...Let's hypotheitcally say that occurs....(knock on wood). Would retaliation (killing the killers) bring back that family member? That's why I don't believe in the death penalty. WHO ARE WE AS HUMANS ON EARTH to make the decision when someone should live or die? Now I do believe in torture, because it's not taking a life.... :o

We are humans - we do get to make that choice. At best it will ensure that another family will not have to grieve because some animal is still out there killing. The worst case, we kill some of his family and he gets to feel your pain or others get to share in the grief. This is not pleasant stuff, but this is terrorism.
