UAPB and Southern are currently tied in the SWAC West, but UAPB owns the tie-breaker.

If Alabama State beats UAPB, then it faces Southern in the SCG next week.

--but--

If UAPB beats Alabama State, UAPB faces Alabama State AGAIN next week in the SCG.....

Is that right???

If I were Alabama State, I'd play all my reserves against UAPB and lose the game Saturday.....

And come back next week in Birmingham and put that thang on UAPB and win the SWAC.....

Considering Alabama State beat us (JSU) 28-6, and we beat UAPB 42-35, it would look like Alabama State would be the odds-on favorite.....

Am I'm sure the honey-bees don't no parts of the Jags anymore.....

Well sort of.....

Right now UAPB is currently 1/2 game behind SU in the division standing. If they beat ASU, then SU & UAPB will be tied. Under the tie breaking rules that the Swac office came up with when they figured out that the mess they started could end up in a tie, UAPB would own that tie breaking rule since they never faced eachother head-to-head with a 3-0 division record vs SU's 2-1 division record.

Outside JSU, the like opponents between ASU and GSU faired the same.
