It Was Necessary!

Good Morning All! Happy Friday to you. I greet you in peace on this beautiful ,sunny morning. This is yet another day that the Lord has allowed us to see and experience. I am rejoicing and being glad in it! It is yet another brand new mercy we are seeing! Aren't you glad about it?

I trust that this email finds all doing well, as I am!

James 1:2 - My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.

This morning's devotional was given to me early this morning. As I woke up this morning, I started giving thanks. As I took a stroll down the moments of my life, I began to thank God for all the He had done, is doing and is going to do. I began to thank Him for His grace, mercy and lovingkindness toward me. I also began to thank God for the times that were not so good. I began to thank Him for the painful, but necessary times and moments. I know that this may sound a little strange, but if it were not for those painful, but necessary times, I would not be who I am today or where I am today.

You may be asking, how can you thank God for painful times and experiences. I will tell you why. Those painful, but necessary times and moments, brought about molding, shaping and maturing who I am in Christ. What a wonderful thing it is. Those painful, but necessary times, brought me closer to God.

You see, without the painful, but necessary experiences of life, I would not have grown and matured. Without the painful, but necessary moments, I would never have gotten to know my Heavenly Father like I do now. Without the painful, but necessary moments, I would have remained in darkness and would have never come to the light.

You have heard the saying that nothing just happens. I will take it a step further , nothing just happens to those who truly love God and who are called according to His purpose.

So I say to you today:

Everything you went through......necessary
Every tear you shed.........necessary
Every lie told about you....necessary
Every misconception about you......necessary
Every failure and mishap.....necessary
Every failed relationship........necessary
Every financial struggle........necessary
Every hard place that you found yourself in.....necessary

Thank God on today for the painful, but necessary times!

It is my prayer that your weekend be filled with peace, productivity and protection. To all mothers, have a very Happy Mother's Day!

Make it an EXCELLENT day!

Jonathan :-)

P.S. - On a personal note, I want to take this time and opportunity to thank all of you who have shared words of encouragement with me. Some of you I know personally and others I do not know, but nevertheless, thank you! From my whole heart, thank you! Your words of encouragement keep me going and focused on purpose and destiny! Please continue to pray for me as I endeavor this project and I will continue to pray for you! :-)

Jonathan:

Bruh, once again, you have blessed me with your inspirational, and in this case, very timely, message. There used to be a time when I sang that famous song..."Why me Lord?". In retrospect, and just as you noted, I am thankful for the ups AND the downs. In the words of J.D. Black, "No test; No testimony".

Again, thank you for sharing as you feel moved to do.

:tup::tup::tup:

You have blessed me as well...God is Good and His Mercy endures forever.
