You do realize that with JSU back in the hunt, your championship run is over right? Ya'll couldn't beat OMJ and barely beat half a team we put on the field last year. What you gonna do this year if it comes down to JSU or Alcorn for Houston? lol You about to remember who yo daddy is!
 
Damn TP, yall got very BIG imaginations at JSU. I'm sorry but when did y'all do enough to get in the championship hunt? Did I miss a game or two already? The season started without any fanfare? Shiiiidddd going from y'all previous performances, there's a long way to go before y'all get in the hunt. Y'all had people putting up 50 last year. And not in basketball.

Did Alcorn put up 50? ..and we are JSU... We can bounce back in one year. Let me tell you about "previous performances" People dropped 50 on us in 2005 but then we started the next season 5-1. We went 3-7 in 2009 and kicked azz in 2010. We went 4-7 in 1984 and won the SWAC in 1985. Grambling was scared to come to Jackson in 2013 and almost got to Houston in 2014. Ya'll beat us bad in 2013 and we turned around and scalped you in 2014. USM almost lost to a sorry Alcorn team the year before but went to the CUSA title game this last year. So let's not worry about last year. Just worry about the fact that WE ARE JACKSON STATE UNIVERSITY! We might lose to Grambling or TNState or get upset by SU but it's rare that we have a decent team and lose to Alcorn.

So why have y'all went through more coaches than anyone in the SWAC in the last 4 years? You said y'all JSU, y'all bounce back. So for all those "bounce back years" how many ended with a SWAC championship? And if memory serves me right, y'all just hired a recruiting coach. Please read that last sentence again and remember it by homecoming.

Dude, we were in championship games while Alcorn folks were at home crying about ole Thomas and them other coaches. Heck, establish a consistently winning program for more than four or five years, then talk.
Until then, your recent run is less than two or three years at the most.

We can't help it that Comegy literally gave away two titles with far better talent. THAT'S why he had to go.

Play like being competitive on a consistent basis don't mean anything? Several schools I can mention who would rather have been at all those championship games rather than being at home.
Ball didn't bounce our way all the time, but we were right in the hunt for the SCG. That's better than being at home for 15 straight years.

You right, we had a coach more concerned with graduating players. It's true. President allowed such foolishness. How many years did JSU have APR problems because people weren't going to class? Cause Alcorn had none. We still have none now and we are producing championships. Damn, graduating players AND winning championships. Who would have known?!!!!!! Go Braves!!!!

I'd rather win more titles. It's not rocket science unless you start actually believing it's ok to be the rug of the SWAC.
