For the few that heard what I am talking about, consider yourselves lucky. But the rest of the SWAC does not know what will hit them in the next 4 years.

Prairie View had made inroads with a certain Houston High School and nabbed several players who experienced the big time. With our losses at the skill positions they will step in and help out ASAP. By their senior year they will be the All-SWAC team.

Keep on thinking we are sorry, but if you recruit Houston your going to win things. Why don't you think Southern hasn't done crap since?

By the way, they are from a bigtime, tradition rich 5A school. I am not taking about some little 1A school in Louisiana.

Let the games begin, we're back.

Hey rest of the SWAC. PV got some players coming in that are going to wreck shop. We should forfeit now. I am dialing BR now in hopes we can cancel playing PV for the next 4 years.

Lewis is it me or does Ryan(PF) keep trying to convince himself that PV can actually beat SU with any players they get. I mean a couple of basketball wins and a hard fought football game for 3 quarters makes him think SU is somehow going to lose to PV. They can't even beat TxSU yet, but they are going to beat SU. Our 3rd team players beat PV last year. This is beyond sad. :bawling:

Don't get mad because these kids turned down Grambling and Southern for greener (literally) pastures. I asked one of them about the SWAC and he said he went to Grambling for a visit and was not impressed. He said the same things I've been saying about PV - (close to Houston, women, chance to start, apartment in freshman year, new stadium on the way)

To prove we're for real, the kicker turned down an up-and-coming Alcorn State program for Prairie View.

We're doing something right to nab 6 kids from a 5A school in Texas. I am excited about the upcoming season.

You all thought Bobby Perry and Deontay Wilson was a monster, imagine these kids in 2 years.

I'm so happy for yall. It must be real exciting to know that someone GSU offered a visit is coming to PVU. It's good to know that you hold us in such high esteem. We will do our best to continue to be the standard by which you measure yourself.

isn't Grambling a trade school now? I heard from a Jackson State player last week that GSU's accredidation is so bad a degree from Houston Community College is worth more.

How is the fat QB? Better yet, the white boy reject from Sam Houston?

I will not say that PV is going to run anything but I will say this. Larry Dorsey is a very good coach. He has been in some bad situtions (coaching at two of the least funded programs in the nation) but he has been able to pull some things off. He has only been at PV for two years and he does need more scholarships but if he can get the right talent from Texas, he will already be in much better shape than he could have ever been in at Valley. I don't know if many of you remember his few shining moments at Valley but I think it was 1990 or 1991 when his team was like 7-0 or 8-0 at one point. He went 2-1-1 against JSU from 1991-1994. His 1997 team almost went to the HB but they lost the three-way tie-breaker against SU and TxSo.

So you all might want to listen to Panther Fan's warnings. If he gets ANYTHING to work with FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE, he could easily win 7 games...(especially with teams like AAMU and AlaState in the SWAC).

What PF is TRYING to warn ya' about is that we've been VERY, VERY quiet about this thing. Seems like the entire staff prefers it. We have something (finally!!!!) to work w/ and we're going to embarrass some folx this fall. PF alluded to some of the recruits, not most of them (as well as redshirts we had from last fall who in my opinion may have been more capable than some starters from last falls' team).

PV should be dubbed the "most dangerous team in BCF" for this fall.

Take PV lightly and you'll be looking like this henyah----> :confused:

Since ASU probably won't be playing PV again this season, I think their 7th win will come against a sorry jsue team!
