Once again, The Alcorn State Braves are on top of the SWAC's Eastern Division with a 3-1 record in the conference. Overall, we are 5-1. This is starting to get a little repetitive.

I thought that JSU had the team to be in the SWAC's Eastern Division. What happened to the Bama boys? They have had the SCG sewed up the past two years now they are #3 and #4 in the division.

Now I'm not one to complain because it seems like everything is going the way it should be. We are running things in our division. Once again, the driver's seat belongs to Alcorn and this year you all can stay in the back seat where you belong!!

I have come to the conclusion that you are on drugs. A&M hasn't play anyone from the east. :confused: How can they be on top?
 
True but the other teams in the West are in the SWAC. You do remember the West don't you? Remember Grambling, who gave you your conference loss.

That's true but that loss didnt count against A&M because it was a nonconference game.

ESPN has the wrong standings swacfootball.com and swac.org have A&M ranked higher than Alcorn.
 
ESPN.com has it all mixed up... they dont know which games count as conference games are not... AAMU is undefeated in conference play.... the Grambling lost didnt count in the standings... I am not sure how many wins they have because I dont know if the PV or Texas SO or BOTH games counted.... But I do know that AAMU has no conference loses.

when looking on the net you have to go by the swacpage or by the official swac board because the white boards dont know which games other than east and west count.
 
Bee person, those sites aren't updated. ESPN updates game by game, hour by hour... It's continual.

The SWAC doesn't go by wins just in the east but in the whole conference. Check the schedules on swac.org and they will tell what games count.

smh.... you need to go back and LEARN about how the SWAC is ran.... it dont matter how many EAST games AAMU has won... each school has a designated amount of conference games.... usually all the teams from your region (east or west) then two from the other region (east or west)... we lost to grambling but that wasnt a designated conference game... We beat PV and Texas SO... one of them counted as a conference game... So it doesnt matter if we havent played a EAST game... do you undersand now?
