I tried that...and a lot of times she agrees. Sometimes, the direct approach is the best approach.

But for some reason, later on down the line, in her mind that friendship line becomes real blurry. It ALWAYS used to happen. What kind of friend would suddenly get jealous if I get a phone call...talking about "who was that you was talking to"...and when I tell her she gets even madder. What kind of friend tries to keep tabs on you and gets mad when you don't answer every single one of her calls? What kind of friend would constantly ask you "where do we stand" after you continuously told her...as if time would change your mind? Some FWB's change the game up and just get carried away with it.

I feel you cuz...I aint knocking it bruh...I've only said it..when I was fed up with the chick...bothered by the chick..or trying to get rid of the chick....or either she was busted up and I was in a drought or frustrated with life and was like f it...but that was back in my undergrad days though...

Well, folks have to realize when one engages in such an agreement the opportunity exists for some attachment to develop. Considering that women, more so than men, are emotional when it comes to sex and relationships, you will find that there is some desire to want to have an extended meaningful relationship.

That's cause it is. The roles are switched. I ain't never seen so many estrogen-laced, female-minded males in all my (recent) life. There are some "hard brothers" but it's few in numbers.

Well, when you read mainstream newspapers, magazines, blogs or watch TV one normally comes across content that features sex/relationship matters being discussed from a female perspective.

Rarely are these matters discussed from a male perspective. No one in the mainstream ever talks about or broaches the difficulties men have in sex/relationships/dating or some of the questions or concerns they have. That stuff doesn't sell a lot of books, bring in high TV ratings or gets tons of hits on a web site.

It's treated as "Oh, what are these soft dudes lamenting about?" When it's a woman, it is viewed with compassion and empathy.

It is social law, that men are NOT supposed to have a soft side period. By law, we are required to be hardend on the inside as well as the outside.

But I think that men have gone from simply back handing a woman in her jaw in order to vent (like they probably used to do back in the day) to expressing his thoughts and "feelings" in a more civilized manner. Today, it seems as if a man expressing anything other than aggression, anger, or some related emotion is viewed as "soft" by society's standards. Now granted, some dudes take to their soft side a little to much. Their feminism strongly outweighs their masculine ones. Something is definitely wrong with that.

Yeah, men don't want to be viewed as vulnerable. That is why the stigma exists, and there is some detraction to men expressing their feelings in a certain way.
