This dude has found a way to "break the code" and hardware of the I-PHONE to where you can have it hooked up through carriers other than AT@T.
This is big because this now opens up a whole new business of black-market I-Phones that can be adapted to over-sea's phone carriers.

Man......................If Steve Job's could get his hands on this mofo right now, it would be ugly. :lol:

NEW YORK - A teenager in New Jersey has broken the lock that ties Apple?s iPhone to AT&T?s wireless network, freeing the most hyped cell phone ever for use on the networks of other carriers, including overseas ones.

George Hotz, 17, confirmed Friday that he had unlocked an iPhone and was using it on T-Mobile?s network, the only major U.S. carrier apart from AT&T that is compatible with the iPhone?s cellular technology.
 
I knew that Iphone was some hype.

Most hackers are between the age of 15 and 28 years old.
They just as smart as a Steve Jobs of Apple or Bill Gates of Micro-soft.

These cat's decided NOT to go the legal route by developing products for sale.
They just like to see how many glitches they can find in the "EXPERT's" programming.
These guy's could be rich in a year if they decided to develope software or hardware for sale.

Companies hire people like this to do nothing but find way's to break into their systems so they can improve security.
 
They need to hire him quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Cause if he did it with the resources he had, Im quite sure some other folks can do it with twice the equipment.
