Inside the first nfl owners meeting

Those people that had to ride the buses in Montgomery did also. Those folks who sat at the lunch counters did too. So did those who crossed the bridge in Selma. Many people said the photographer who was an FBI informant that took pictures and gave info on Dr. King and the civil Rights movement had kids to feed so he did what he had to do by telling everything on Dr. King to get money to feed his family. Guess it depends on what side of history you wanna be on.

What facilitates rampant institutional racism and even thrive in 2018 is that faction of AA not willing to sacrifice now and in the past or even resist unfair treatment. The psychology of the aforementioned subservient mind set is deeper than just making a surface observation. For example, the lack of trust in communicating with other blacks in a corporate setting (sometime justifiable) to address injustices (divided and conquered mentally or making a valid assessment that other AA can't be trusted because their constitution isn't strong). Another example is coming from an environment or family that have fostered subservience to the white establishment from a very early age and have no desire to overcome that mind set (this even persisted in both (not all) the so called field and house mind set during slavery which permeates as well blue and white collar workers today). I could go on but will end here.

CEE, I don't disagree with anything you said. My point is, these athletes are not going to look at the situation the same as you and I.
