Grambling is the home team this year so the game should be played in Shreveport or Grambling. To take this game out of Louisiana would be a real stupid move. Louisiana needs the revenue very badly do to the storm. Louisianians need to have some pride about the state and the two schools involved. The Bayou Classic is Louisiana breed and it needs to remain in Louisiana. It will be only temporary anyway until New Orleans is functioning again.cat daddy said:Say it again DSN. I can't believe the poster who are from Louisiana, graduates of SU and Grambling, advocating this game be played anywhere other than Louisiana. If any state needs the revenue generated by this game, it is Louisiana.
MightyDog said:Just think how much it would help the BC get the recongnition it so rightful deserve if the game is played in B'ham. B'ham would even sponsor a parade to make the BC a true classic.
=JaxIn all actuality...the mcc is not even a true classic, let alone, worth mentioning. .
Plus with an additional 10,000 seats can be brought in to bring seating to 70,000, it was done the year LSU played in the Independence Bowl...cat daddy said:A game born in Louisiana, played between two Louisiana Schools has to stay in Louisiana. Shreveport is the best option. Nothing is going on up there to work around and the stadium can hold 60K.

I feel safer in Houston!!!!!!!!!!the band fan said:you feel safer in Houston or Baton Rouge?
Whatever, you can get your head knocked off in either place, but for you band fan, I know why you would never say Baton Rouge.<TABLE class=tborder cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=6 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR title="Post 761403" vAlign=top><TD class=alt2>you feel safer in Houston or Baton Rouge?</TD></TR><!-- END TEMPLATE: newreply_reviewbit --><!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: newreply_reviewbit --><TR><TD class=thead colSpan=2>Today 03:46 PM</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
