I swear I couldn't make up some of the stuff that happens to me. Yesterday I was sitting on the phone talking with a friend from college. We only live about 4 hrs away from each other but I only see her about twice a yr. We were setting up a place and time to meet for lunch today. So somewhere about 30 min into the conversation she asked me if she's ever specifically told me that she and her husband have an open marriage. I'm kinda watching That 70's Show and I tell her nah she has never told me that.

Her: Yeah, we don't tell very many people because they start judging you and all that.

Me: I understand. It's your business.

Her: So I *pause* well I was wondering *pause* if you would be interested in taking my husband for a test drive?

Me: (thinking I misunderstood) What did you say?

Her: You know just once or twice. Maybe 30 min to an hr.

Me: :eek:

Her: He said if it ever came up that he would be game with you.

Me: :eek:

Her: You don't have to answer right now. You can think about it.

Y'all I was messed up for the rest of the conversation. He's currently over in Iraq and I know she's having a hard time, but I sooo didn't see this coming. Of course I'm going to say no, but man I'm still stunned.

Yeah, just like that. She went on to tell me that he won't sleep with anyone unless they have her approval and she hasn't met anyone that meets her approval like I do. She said that she's confident out friendship wouldn't suffer and that I wouldn't get caught up and expect more out of the arrangement than there is. She said that she knows I'm the type to put a lot of thought into things before I do it so she would expect me to need some time before giving a response.

Look at you! :lol: What's the point in asking those questions when she is not going to do it. Asking those questions may lead that woman to think that she might have a slight bit of interest or would seriously consider her proposal.

Thank you Crit. CD is cutting up. In fact she asked me why I wasn't asking her any questions. I was thinking to myself "What do I need to ask? You just asked me to knock off your husband...what more do I need to know?"

Go shopping?
Watch the game?
