Matter of fact, I’m so SWAC, I spent 32 years supporting my SWAC school while they get beat by OTHER SWAC schools! I go so HAM for my SWAC school that @theswac blocked me !

Being neutral in all of this, and also being swac which I definitely am, I see a problem on both sides. Coach Sanders talks often with disregard and disrespect. I also think it's disrespectful no matter what you do every game to walk through another teams warm up. Because of his own admission that they were very late, no need to do that if you are short on time. Coach Robinson was still trying to score a touchdown with little less than 3 minutes left. He had about a 5% chance of scoring two touchdowns. But I think it's a little bit different when you're on offense and the game can be put away than when you're on defense. Coach Robinson don't complain about somebody not coming to shake your hand when you didn't try to go shake theirs.

I don’t remember verbatim, but it was back in 2019.
I made a comment somewhere along the lines of how the SWAC couldn’t factually, accurately or realistically predict 💩 all over themselves after drinking a spoiled milkshake laced with kaopectate, much less project a good pre-season poll. 🤷🏾‍♀️

But I do vividly remember ending my post with “I can’t wait for my boys to prove those lying
b@stards & their incompetent refs wrong”

I might be in the minority here, but all I want my coach and team to do is line up and let's play the game. Funk all the talk. To be the best you gotta beat the best. Everyone can be mad all they want to but Deion is doing what all of the rest of the SWAC has been doing when they get good teams. Let's be honest where was call off the dogs when Grambling beat us 56-3 in that lake of a stadium? Where was call of the dogs when Southern had Pete Richardson beating teams by 30-40 points? I mean hell even Coach Jones used a running clock on JSU. Where was the pity then? We all laughed. Take your azz whipping and go recruit.

Same here, CEE.

I just want my boys to PLAY! Not asking them to win, JUST PLAY FOOTBALL! I’ve seen too many times what happens when my Golden Lions do show up, and it just makes my heart heavy with love & pride when they do.
I miss those days (eons ago) when we took SU to triple OT; I miss those last second game changers. I just miss the competitiveness.

Those days are long gone when you have a kid from star city, Arkansas or whatever come out the blue and dominate - not much talent in those small areas anymore in the south

Agree with the bolded especially. Whether it’s meant to be disrespectful or not it’s unnecessary. The potential for problems aren’t worth it.

Enrolling three of your kids into a SWAC institution, giving it your all while coaching there and offering to help other conference institutions has to count for something.

Eddie Rob has issued as much of a mea culpa as he is going to. Hopefully, he does grow from the incident because it is sad to see a fifty plus year old man lack self-control of his ego.
