I'm so glad

Spring Football is our spring sport. We serious bout that isht...it'w when we schedule our Birmingham trip. (Oh for you Young Yellas that's never been...Birmingham is our home football city in Alabama.

O.K. Grumbling:

The last 6 years you have won 3 and your Daddy has won 3.

2003 will be the tie breaker for contemporary championships.

We will leave the fact that you all are bringing up the rear in head to head competition alone. We will leave alone the fact that you all ran from joiniing the SWAC for 2 decades because you were not able to compete. We will not talk about the fact that "Ace" is waiting in heaven to kick Eddie's arse and run him some more. We will just let the SWAC all time and SUperior winning program (for you slower non history buffs, no team in the SWAC has more college footbal wins that DADDY aka your SUperior) and the "so called" self proclaimed icon settle the contemporary history in the LA SUperdome this fall. By the way.....BC MVP Reeeshard told me he looking for yall weak arse! BigMike....He mumbled something about putting the "yallow" stick to Grumbling red & black posterior. Go figure; I am not one to draw conclusions but it sounds like Grumbling is our.......BIA BIA!!!!!!

JRock we going for 4 this year...well actually, we plan on getting 10 in a row but we taking them one championship at a time!

But you can can that "running from the SWAC" isht. You know dayum well the league was loaded with Texas church schools initially. As a matter of fact, the only non-Texican was SU. The SWAC was formed as a football conference long before GSU even started football.

That's really slick talking about the all-time winningest SWAC school. Percentage wise you know dayum well you are not the winningest program. Now when you talk total wins, well that's sooooo misleading. Especially since only PV was in the league with you for near 20 years.

MB,

You kitties ran from the SWAC quicker than a Canadian sprinter on steroids. We all know that the SWAC was formed before Grambling started playing football. Your arse still ran from the league two decades before you yellow bellies took your tail from between your legs and started playing the real comp. It is not an accident that you are behind in the series.

That is for the 3rd Winningest program in all of BCF, this is no big secret. That is one reason why we are your DADDY. BTW, dont make any crazy bets like Charles Barkley did with Yao as it relates to 4peats. Also, just to keep you "up to snuff" on our conference history. S.U. was not the only non "Texican" in the league. Please dont disrespect Lanston (one would have thought they earned your respect this fall) and Arkansas Pine Bluff. They were both members of the SWAC well b4 Grumbling.

I should have known you would have researched this before you posted and checked to see who was in and when who joined. All I know is that since we joined...we ruled this mofo

Machiavelli, If I were you; I would be careful and not got there. If it were not for Southern forcing you to play real football during past Bayou Classics, you would have turned your back on the SWAC along time ago. You have always imagine yourself playing with the big boys. Now that you are, you have realized that you can't stand the pain.

In watching Eugene play, he reminded me of a former professional quarterback who played for the New Orleans Saints, by the name of Billy Kilmer.....whatever happened to him?

For you to trivialize the "Bayou Classic" shows that you should not be associated with GSU or any other HBCU. You have forgotten what it took for both school to get to this point.

You need to be re-educated about the Bayou Classic. You need to be re-educated about the Bayou Classic

THE BAYOU CLASSIC IS A GAME THAT HAS BEEN PLAYED BETWEEN THE ICON THAT IS GRAMBLING AND su SINCE 1974. IT WILL GO ON FOR SOMETIME . THE SCG STARTED IN 1999, DON'T KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL GO ON. IT IS FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE ENTIRE SWAC CONFERENCE. ONLY 5 DIFFERENT SCHOOLS HAVE PLAYED IN IT SINCE IT STARTED. IT HAS ONLY KNOWN 2 DIFFERENT CHAMPIONS.

YOU PLAY TO WIN AS MANY GAMES AS YOU CAN. THE SEASON CONSISTS OF MORE GAMES THAN THE BAYOU CLASSIC.... BUT FOR YOU TO SAY AT LEAST WE WON THE BAYOU CLASSIC TRIVIALIZES FOOTBALL SEASON.

Will someone from SUcks address the futility of winning a whopping eight championships since 1958? Hell, Icon Gram will win eight this decade.

Eight championships in 44 years... you clowns have done nothing since Gram joined the SWAC.

Will someone from grumbling address the futility of their athletic program. Other than football y'all Gsucks. Never been to the big dance, one track title in who knows, same for baseball, one track title and ................we own you in head to head competition. Your last two coaches have a combine 1 victory over Pete.

I have no problem addressing the truth, we just didn't win enough games to win a championship but we still kicked your azz over the years.

Now answer mine about your lame program.:read:

Bayou Classic History:
Collie Nicholson and Eddie Robinson came up with the idea of the Bayou Classic. Southern was the team The Icon happened to be playing.

To be actual and factual, former SU athletic director , the late Ulysses Jones, Sr. also played a huge role in getting the Bayou Classic started. I had an opportunity to visit with Mr. Jones back in the early nineties and was impressed with his knowledge of SWAC history and his love for HBCU's. He was truly a class gentleman.

'bout time you come out of the closet. :lecture:

Don't worry Bg you know how it is,they always claim that we runaway from butt kickins.
Its strange though that when they get theirs kick that sport doesn't matter.
I wonder why do they waste the money, just have football or basketball if they really want the SWAC power ratings to move up in sports.
That way we can invite some teams in that actually have an athletic program.
But not to worry after we finish with the tired @sses this spring we're going to send those

back to the fields. :bump:

If I ever came out of the closet, it would be after putting the wood to one of them fine azz yellas ( if you mention the wife, I'm coming to Nawlins and burn your flag).

Coach Ulysses Jones was unique for a jaguar on two fronts...he was honorable and he was the color of Folger's coffee!
