GR, I don't understand how it is that y'all can't remember that this is our first year of eligibility for tournament play. I can't tell you anything about that. But we have so many tournament appearances from the other conference that I will not go off into that. But I will tell you a short, short story:

"And A&M was great. One of the best there was. So great they made it to the elite 8." - When we make it to the Big Dance next year, I will be sure to tell you ALL about that one.

p.s. It's getting close to Football season now. I gotta hear the story about 1996.

In Alcorn's first year of eligibility for tournament play, we received a At-Large Bid and won our first round game. The year before we were eligible for the NCAA Tourney we got a bid to the NIT.
