If, they want to go all-in on their next hire. They should reach out to Tee Martin. Basically, he has been demoted from Offensive Coordinator at USC. So, he will be getting the boot after this season.

Hell, he could recruit Mississippi and Alabama for some decent talent. I know, he would bring in a good coaching staff. Hey

We have to stop lowballing our teams, and start striving to be the best.

Hey, I know, this post will get laugh at by some. But, I can dream.

In a perfect world... The coaching staff would consist of:

Q.B. coach- Jamarcus Russell or Robert Kent.
R.B. Coach- Sherman Williams
O.L coach- Jesse James or Roosevelt Paterson.
D.L. - Robert Brazier or Robert Mathis.

Hopefully, they want go with some HBCU retread.

If they are looking for a staff I think could get it done coupled w/ staffers who know and can recruit MS, I’d go w/ aTm-Commerce’s Colby Carthel. They were d-II champs last year.

Secret is out. Have at it.

You may be on to something here...

Having a winning pedigree is important at any level. He's at 150k and his assistants are paid well. I like your outside the box thinking here. But let's be hones, there is no way he's going to an HBCU.

Never know until you shoot your shot. I’ve heard some rumblings the Commerce might move up to join old rivals in the Southland, but those same rumblings said Sam is looking to move up to FBS too.

Commerce has 12,000 students, and although they are DII they're staffed numbers-wise with more coaches than most FCS programs. I can easily see them moving to the Southland Conference.

I like that. He is definitely someone JSU should reach out to and gauge their interest. Can't leave no Stone unturned

Yeah they have umpteen coaches but a lot of them are "unpaid"

Quinton Morgan at Langston. He’s a hungry young coach who has done wonders with that program in a few short years with not a bunch of whole lot of college head coaching experience.

There are options, including Morgan.

Virginia Union head coach Alvin Parker. He's VUU alumni, but everyone has a price, right?
Hell, what about Reggie Barlow?
Bowie State's Damon Wilson is a Bowie alum, but he got his feet wet at TSU and PV (Frazier is on his staff as a special assistant).

JSU peeps don't sleep on one of your own up at Starkville High (Chris Jones)..He would be great at OC if not the head guy..... His teams are playing for championships every year....

I've heard him and TC Taylor name is on there list.

Taylor is one of the top names on Ashley’s list from what I’ve heard. Would be a great fit. Former auccessful alum and knows the state of Mississippi really well. Would be very satisfied with that hire.
