IF someone wrote an article about sporting news, or an important sports related event pertaining to the member schools of the SWAC, and submitted it to [email protected], would it be placed on the front page of TSPN?

I don't see why not. I understand Kenn gathers information from different resources all the time. As long as it's factual!!

If you write an article about Lovelady or How Bucky Got Fired, I would read it. After all we can't let MikeBigg get off with thinking he's a journalist now. By now he must be thinking he's Collie Nicholson or some damm body. Before you know it, he'll be demanding a Pulister Prize.

The answer to your question is of course we would. I think the term sporting news (the magazine) threw everyone off from what you meant. Of course I could be wrong.:)

Why I gotta have a problem to ask a question?

Ok, suppose your school had a Sports Information Director who was, to put it mildly, GARBAGE, and a news story came out that deserved some pub. GARBAGE being GARBAGE, the news didn't get out as it should have.

Let's go further, and use the example of my boy Dante Wesley.

Since our SID (please see the GARBAGE reference above) did not get the information out about Dante being drafted, suppose I wrote a little snippet out it myself. Being that both my verbal and written skills are far superior to those possessed by GARBAGE, if I were to submit a written blurb about such an event to [email protected], would it or would it not make the front page of TSPN??
