I didn't know SWAC women's hoops was so popular all of a sudden

Look at all these teams that are using their women's team to get them to Birmingham. They never said anything all season about their team but now their talking about them since their men could not do the job.

Yes, my teams are finished but I've never jumped ship at the end of the season like some fans are doing. You swear they've been following them all season long. I'm not going to name schools but I only know of one team whose fans are not riding them to Birmingham like some.

Alabama State will win the women's tournament. Alabama A&M will win the men's.

We can fill a whole thread with all the things you don't know about but open your mouth about. Is any PV team going to Birmingham???? That's what I thought.
 



do me a favor: run a search and access November threads, if you can find 15 Jags talking about their women's hoops team instead of the men before the Ga. Tech win I'll stop smacking SU for an unspecified amount of time.
 
Hey PF, go ahead and run the threads. I bet you find more about the Lady Jags than the men. I don't recall not one Jag optimistic about this year's team. I am sure no one thought it would be this bad. But no Jag said anything about winning a title. However I remember some folks saying the women were going to win. So go ahead and try to find SU bragging about bball. SMH

What's next? SU folks talking about their volleyball team's accomplishments when their average football sucks again this year?
 
Not so fast PF. I can tell you that football is never going to suck as long as Pete is there. Things are looking real well for SU next year in Football. I do know this much. PV will not beat us. As a matter of fact the game will not even be close. I don't think anyone in the SWAC is going to take PV lightly anymore. A couple of years of improvement will cause teams to go back to trying thrash you. I know you been following SU news so you know we ain't going to suck next year. Not by a long shot.~snicker~
 
no Michael Hayes or dominant running back - SU is nothing.


jump on the women's bandwagon. 99 percent of the folks on here did not go to their games until the start of the tournament.
 
they advanced to the finals, I was 50-percent right.
