Define traditional winning program. SU is no Grambling or FAMU, but we definitely have a good football history. Florida was always a solid program, it just took them a while to win a title(like JR said that is how you judge great programs). You combine the 3 decades of not having a losing season with the resources and access to the nation's top talent, Florida has no business(unless under NCAA sanctions) having losing seasons. I mean during my lifetime Florida has always been a championship level program. I never in a million years thought I would see Florida get a beat down from Vanderbilt and Georgia Southern. We saw it happened, and it can happen to any program if things aren't in place to continue that winning tradition(coaching staff, talent, NCAA compliance, etc....).
