You want to know what point you got FAR'D hughes? When it was 21-7 AT&T and it shoulda been 21-0 JSU, thats when you got FAR'D. I would never advocate pushing an old man down the stairs, but....

How many game winning/tying touchdown passes has T C Taylor dropped this year? I cant even blame that defeat on the coach. He was calling the right plays, even though i feel they should have passed every down. You cant coach dropped wide open passes on 4th down, or interceptions that Kent through DIRECTLY to the opposing team like they had a JSU helmet on. Also it aint Hughes fault that somebody on JSU team KICKED the ball like he was playing kickball when A&T kicked the ball off to JSU. The players lost this game NOT the coach. And the funny thing about it is THE DAMN PLAYERS DONT CARE. We were in the Rennasaince Saturday night talking to some of the football players and they have the I DONT CARE IF WE LOST ATTITUDE. I guess after they saw the GSU and Bama St score, they figured they didnt have anything to play for. I will go on to say, if TC would have caught that WIDE OPEN pass on 4th down JSU WOULD HAVE WON THE GAME.
 
If Hughes would have recruited a Punter or a FG kicker or taught someone how to play special teams, TC wouldnt have had to worry about catching a 4th down pass. Even if he had caught it there was no gurantee we would have won in overtime.

Its Hughes fault that we lose 3 or 4 linemen every year since he took over to ACL injuries because he doesnt teach them and kind of technique. Our boys dont even know how to run block.

Its hughes fault that A&T started every poession at the 40 or better because he didnt think JSU needed a kicker.

Its hughes fault that he runs bootleg formations in every aspect of special teams. What other football team have you seen with 3 men deep on kick returns and 2 men deep on punts?

Hughes is the one responsible for everything the team does. They dont respect hughes. If they have a "we dont care" attitude, well attitude reflects leadership. Hughes didnt care all off season when we didnt have a kicker. You dont blame kids when they drop a pass. But you do blame a man collecting a check when he doesnt teach them fundamentals. The buck stops with hughes. That is why he is FAR'D. :redhot: :mad:
 
I feel what you are saying and you definitely know more about JSU football than I do, but THE DAMN BALL WAS IN HIS DAMN HANDS. He had all the dbs beat. I am not saying he would have scored but he would have definitely came close or at least had the first down. Neither team had a good kicker. JSU should go for 2 point conversions the whole game, with their passing scheme they would get it every time. Also, if you are getting 10-15 yards a pass, WHY NOT PASS EVERY DAMN DOWN. I swear JSU has the capabilities to score 100 points. They can score from anywhere at anytime. Also the center and quarterback need to work together on that shotgun. Ol dude kept snapping the ball way over Kents head.
 
Yeah thats true... But since we wont be getting rid of the players, hughes ass gotta ride out. He should resign now and save JSU further embarrasment.
 
I know one thing..........Hughes stop asking if you can coach at AAMU next year! We already know who will most likely be the coach if what I hear is true;) Ewwwwww and its gonna make a certain team in the SWAC mad:mad::emlaugh:!!!!

Besides we only need someone on laundry detail to help Coach Harris:emlaugh:

All smack aside, J-State Tiger, but if Hughes is fired, who would yall consider for his replacement? I mean, good black head coaches must be hard to find. Hell, look at how many bad ones are in the SWAC now. Don't feel like the lone ranger, JSU fans are not the only ones who are dissatisfied with their head coach. Well, just trust me on that.

Some of the criticisms are best unsaid here. I feel ya, tho.

TSU/BAMA,

The pickings are slim amongs BCF coaches. But that's part of the problem. Our only options shouldn't be JUST BCF coaches. If you're currently on a BCF I-AA staff, I bout don't want you coaching at JSU, anyway. A coupla them D-2 coaches are pretty good. But we have alums with years of experience coaching in the NFL and other D1 programs.

Bama State and A&M had the right idea. They just picked the wrong 2.

DAHILL,

That was the first time T.C. dropped a ball in that situation. He definitely woulda scored on that play. But poor coaching and lack of preparation put us in the predicament we are in. When special teams is looked upon as a nuisance, you get the crap that happens to us each week.

A&T needed trick plays for their offense to get down the field against us. The defense was on point for us. The offense went up and down the field. But giving the other team 21 special teams points, in addition to that INT for a TD, and you can't win against a good team.

My bad Robber, I thought TC was the one that missed the pass against Bama St at the end of the game.
 
JSU's next coach will be a good one. Based on what I know about my AD, he probably WON"T be from the BCF ranks.

I don't know if he'd be interested but it has worked for Gram and I think it would work for us. How about Jackie Slater. He has the contacts and should know some bright young minds out there. With Gram you have bright minds surrounding a dumb head coach. With Jackie you can leave out the stupid.

Panther you must be an idiot savant. It is impossible for us to lose to you but it would be the perfect solution for getting rid of Hughes.
