How 'Bout Dem SAINTS?

The Saints score with 1-second left on the clock to edge the Carolina Panthers 27-25 on the road. Ricky takes a pitchout from Brooks and scores standing up from 1-yard out. It was an ugly win, but that last drive was classic. What's up with the offense? Is Brooks starting to look nervous in the pocket?

Next up: The Dirty Birds from Atlanta. In two weeks, a big game with the Rams on the road. By the way, the SU band is supposed to play before and at the halftime of the Falcons game at the dome. I'll be there of course.
 
It looks like Brooks is still learning the offense we just have to get him time to mature into the offense:cool:
 



SAINTS!

All the Saints have to start doing now is put more points on the board at a faster pace. The reason that I say this is because there rarely seems to be a "cushion" for them to work with towards the end of the game. While I enjoyed seeing Aaron Brooks and Ricky Williams' last-second heroics, I would much rather see them with a substantial lead.
 
I'm just glad to see that the Saints found a way to win. The mark of a good team is coming from behind on the road, in the rain and on a muddy field.
 
Yeah, I noticed that. The will probably wear white jersies and black pants when they go play the Rams.
 
How bout them Saints, what about them 4 and 1 49ers? I bet we spilt with the Saints this year. My niners must have hit rock bottom. I'm talking about splitting with the Saints, but we're on our way back up. Anyway, well get our Six Super Bowl ring before Dallas does.
 
That was a gutsy call at the goal line to let Ricky Williams run wide. Coaches usually do not call that type of play-especially with one second left.

As for the Falcons, I hope that they have their signals straight. Or else it will be a long day. Terrell Owens got open too often late in the game. How he got open in OVERTIME to score the winning TD is beyond me.:mad:

Overrated Ray Buchanan is the reason. That lame plays for the INT too much and end up costing the team a lot of times!!!!

I'm just glad the Aints (the Falcons perennial whooping boys) are on the schedule for this week!!!!!!!

Buchanan had better tighten up because I see Aaron Brooks exploiting his aggressiveness.

I guess Buchanan tightened up on Sunday and guessed it looked like Aaron Brooks did not exploit his aggressiveness. Note that I cannot see everything.;)
