Hostile Environment Fans/ Crazy HBCU Student Section (Experiences/Stories)

I just read in the other thread...what was done to an Alcorn player by the SU student section LOL smh..I remember that cornball running over there too...

The LS cat dude from JSU stated somebody pulled a gun out on him smh..

I can't remember the band that came to Mumford..but they poured their souls out on the field, they did the best they could and gave a good performance IMO...man when I say the fuggin whole student section and some of the HOME side regulars after the band finished, stood up and did the whole "Thumbs Up..thumbs down" routine LMAOOO.....that was the 1st time I've seen some shat like that done before to somebody

I would say from traveling to FAMU..only going to Bragg stadium that one time when I was a kid...them dudes were ruthless, I thought we had a bad student section and hostile crowd, but they matched our intensity LOL...them Florida cats were talking trash right back to our azzez, where most fans would just smile or shake their heads...

Spill the beans of the crazy stuff yall did or experienced from the opposing fans...

I really think if JSU had a 25-30K seat stadium, teams and visiting fans would be in tears by the time they left our stadium. LOL

Bruh I can't even lie, man in 97 or 99, for the SU vs JSU game in Jackson a fight had broke out on JSU side I wanna say after Halftime at the bottom, ppl were falling outta the stadium LMAO...bruh no lie, I can't make this shat up..they were brawling on that side..I think it may have been 99, but it was a gang of ppl fighting over there after halftime...LMAO..smh..
It was in that section right under where yall band sits..I remember a dude getting knock out or falling to the ground and trying to "hop" is azz back up there LMAO..don't you have to go up the railing...smh LOL

The student section is finally starting to get back to being ruthless. I love it.

The most ruthless group sat right next to the band or just right above the band. Them fools used to keep the whole stadium electrified, especially the ones just above the band.
 
The 2001 FAMU game was classic when we stormed the field after the overtime win and they turned the sprinklers on us in Tally-ho. I know dude took a 10-yard marker off the field.

Great crowd and atmosphere. That gets lost in the "Classic" set up.

Yeah man... I was there in 97-01 and the Student Section would be killing Opposing Teams as they would walk through the Tunnel on the Home side. :lol:
 
We have to get Mumford back to this environment. Today's players and coaches would be scared for their lives. lol

Ah yes. I was at that game. This is the game Steve Wofford killed JSU by himself. The student section has always been rowdy until the 2000s something crew came in.

The whole student section with the chant LOL then they (remixed) that shat smh...and this was before kickoff...bruh that was the 'hardest' ticket to get..I remember Bowies was bussin heads for his tickets...
That whole day was crazy..tailgating on the yard...:cry:

I was at that game...aww man..the days...

Getting across that hump was insane LOL

Su has the most hostile fans which is why I refuse to go to any game in Baton Rouge. ..hell I hate when they come to the jack. Lol jsu can make certain environments hostile depending on who you play. I think in 2011, mvsu wanted to win soooo bad fam, they started cussing n ish and booing us. I'm like, it ain't that serious b lmao

Well then, You need to ride to the game next year with Get Ready. He goes down there and turn over bbq pits and slap wigs off old ladies!!!! He will protect you. He's ruthless......until he gets to PV. PV has a cop that shuts him down!!! :emlaugh:

I remember dude getting shot over a craps game in the stadium back in 1990. Them "Straight outta Scot" boyz were rough way back in the day. The Dean of Jones Hall warned folks about walking over the tracks for Popeyes or Church's back then. lol.

But they might have to do the following:

If the person you with start talking too much shat, you might have to whip their azz to shut them up, in order to keep your azz from getting whipped along with theirs.

I remember going to SU for a basketball with about 30 other students, we cheered and chanted for Grambling all night long. Coach P or David Rusty Ponton came to us and told us to be careful leaving out. We look up the stairs and the police was escorting about 20 boys out the building, because they were about to jump us for cheering for Grambling in Jaguarland. We were going to Tonys on plank road after the game but we kept driving to st Francisville and stopped at McDonald's

LOL.. don't be fooled.. i have never had a bad time down there. The only thing I hate is the seating. Since there is no visitor side, you have to sit intermingled with SU fans.. THAT's no fun. They normally sit there like this during a JSU game... :(

But gram's memorial gym was just as bad. Students sat next to the court and talked much trash during the games.

Some crowds aren't like they use to be.

Ponton definitely should know. He might have experienced an azz kicking from those boys in Scotlandville during his years at Southern. And the bad thing about them Scotland boys, if you do get the chance to whip their azzes, you better bet they are coming back with reinforcement. SU's Que Chapter Beta Sigma learned that lesson fast back in the 80's. They whipped a few of those Scotland boys azzes at a party they gave and SU campus security had to call the East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff department to keep them fools from taking over SU's campus.
 
NCCU band came to SU back in 07 or 06 and ran about 25 songs in the 5th quarter... LOL..I know a strong 20.

Why SU fans went over to them in that corner, and got on they asses..LOL...And NCCU band wouldn't leave for nothing in the world..

Ya'll have her scared to come to Mumford. Mumford isn't bad at all, just don't come in there talking trash with SU fans. lol

You wouldn't go to any game in the SEC then, because there fans are 100 times worse.
