I want things to work out for him....but if he is allowing LSU to dictate where he goes then he indeed has been "hoodwinked and cable-towed." I'm going to research some NCAA rules and I'm wondering if he could transfer to McNeese...then transfer back to LSU for his last season.

Didnt you say earlier Grambling sent a request to LSU ? You dont think thats by Doug's request. Same thing we did, probably every FCS school has.

That's what my brother in law said was reported on the news in Shreveport but nothing official has come from Grambling. BIG DIFFERENCE. If it's true we threw him a line waiting for him to bite, not begging and shoving nothing down his throat.:lol:

well.... Grambling is in Louisiana which is under LSU control. unless Tyrann start considering Southeast Louisiana or Northwestern State next.
 
Baton Rouge - Former LSU All-American Tyrann Mathieu will announce Wednesday where he will transfer, a source close to Mathieu said Monday, dispelling a report by ESPN that he was considering staying in school this year and applying for readmission to the team for the 2013 season.

The source said the possibility of Mathieu wearing the Tigers' purple and gold again "wouldn't be happening." Mathieu, a Heisman Trophy finalist and All-American cornerback last season, was kicked of the team last Friday for violation of team policies.

The same source said the reason for the dismissal was multiple failed drug tests and that the plan all along was to transfer to a Football Championship Subdivision (Division I-AA) school, play his junior season and focus on the NFL draft in April. Mathieu was suspended one game last season reportedly for testing positive for synthetic marijuana.

As of Monday, Mathieu had visited only McNeese State in Lake Charles. The visit was confirmed by that school Friday. Other media outlets have the former St. Augustine player also considering Nicholls State.

Travis seems to real good hopefully he hasn't pulled a Ross and just started reporting things without getting facts. My whole thing is he making his decision Wednesday and only seen McNeese this shouldnt be too hard anyways

yea, they might not want him very much engaged on this item based on his last report/source. not sure but it still sounds funny as if they're trying to leave or something about to do down. you know how JSU works. lol

Nah he wont be at JSU....IMO my source confirmed it..once i saw where he didnt come to campus yesterday I knew it was over...O well we still have an awesome defense coming back so I am ready to see them boys in action...

too the Louisiana folks does McNeese State get alot of media coverage there? televised games any?
