From what I've seen, Southern and A&T had the best shows. As far as SWAC, ASU was cool and JSU sounded good but I didn't care for the Georgia On My Mind intro, that kid singing too long and the rapper in the end.

That's because Southern performed after the Boom, now that was a sideline blowdown, it was unreal! :what:
Southern just doesn't have the instruments/instrumentation or experienced/knowledgeable arrangers to compete with the Boom. Greggs was very competitive with 128! Southern has lost it's aggressiveness and motivation to blow under Haymer! Southern blows and sounds like a MEAC band. :emlaugh:

That's because they TRIED to. SU and JSU just went. On a stage like that, you step ya game up. In terms of sound and drilling, I have NO complaints about the BOOM. We have just lost that entertainment factor and its almost as if we don't try.

I agree.... you can tell who put more into planning their show. JSU's show wasnt bad at all... but it was a typical Fall halftime show. A&T actually planned a show.... it wasnt pieced together.

Some people like Jackson State's show at Honda.
2. Jackson State- A lot of people (bandheads) may not agree with this ranking, but the average person liked this show because it was entertaining. Yea they had a LOT going on, but it worked. There was a little bit of something in their show for everybody. I even heard someone one say who ever the rapper they used was one of their favorite rappers, so they made a connection with that band. I liked the Georgia on My Mind, though the placement of it may had been off they made a connection with the state they were in, Georgia. I love the fact that they integrated technology but using the video to introduce the teen singer, it was something different. Sound wise, they sound good and they were blowing. I was sitting on their side around the 25 yard line, front section, and on the sideline blowout I could hear the players that were on that far wing of the band, not as individuals, but that entire section of the band was pushing the same energy and the sound made it up. Some of the other bands that got the close you could not hear, nor feel the energy.

Are you serious, Southern performed it's Homecoming show again? Except for Southern, all the bands had new show for Honda.
