Hines resigns as Alabama State AD

It's a direct quote from the article and is evidence that Hines' judgement was questionable.

Sorry I still don't see the correlation between the two. Maybe I miss something but I didn't see anywhere in the article that states his resignation had anything to do with his judgment.

Besides it wasn't a secret to anyone that Jenkins was supposedly under investigation at the time he was hire. Again maybe I'm just missing something

What's going on? I know football is a miss right now but I thought he had the other sports holding down the fort.

Nothing to see here, the BOT among others just weren't happy with his inability to get football on track i.e keep the stadium filled consistently. Throw in sketchy game day operations and not getting season tickets out in a timely manner...fate sealed.

Public knowledge of the Jenkins' investigation doesn't absolve Hines of making a poor decision and poor hire.

That means you have no clue of the internal workings at JSU! Wheeler Brown might get reassigned until his contract expires in '18 but Hughes is SAFE! If Hughes does leave it will be because of his own frustrations nothing more.
Is Hughes safe if he loses the next 3?

I think that the only thing that saves Jenkins job is him dethroning Alcorn from the EAST. Like I said in the other thread they should have kept Barlow for what they got now. Barlow always lost the wrong game to the wrong team to keep him from winning the EAST but he was right up there in 2nd place every time. Jenkins teams have got worse every year he has been there. He went from 6-5 to 4-7 to might not win 4 games this year. Never have I seen an Alabama St. team lose by 50+ points to a SWAC team (vs. SU 2016). Never have I seen an Alabama St. team get held to 6 points at home to a DII team (vs. Tuskegee 2017). Never have I seen an Alabama St. team get shut out at home by anther SWAC team (vs. Prairie View 2017). But If yall are looking for another Head Coach Alcorn is willing to offer yall Fred Kaiss. As far as the AD, he is going to live or die by the performances of his teams.
