Hi-Five Lead Singer Tony Thompson Found Dead

I remember when dude left High 5, I thought his career was about to take off, but his solo album didn't do to good, but the single "I Wanna Love Like That" was tight.

NICE

RIP Tony T. Quality Time, I can't wait another minute and The Way You Said Goodbye were my jams.

:(

They didn't make much loot.

.....aint know loot to make, really; when all they(producers)tellin you to do is to "sing this". They'ain produce, write, nor arrange anything.

Nevertheless, Hi-Five was one'of my favorite groups while in College. I think I'ma go look for that Greatest Hits CD thats out.

And don't forget that expensive videos and huge entourages they keep. I guess they wouldn't have any money, if they're not the ones writing the songs, producing it and getting endorsement deals.

Okay? Shid, fucc going after the artist, go after the REAL paper- the behind-da-scene type folks like the producers and song writers.

I read a couple of blogs from his myspace site and from media sites around Waco, Tx that stated he had been negotiating for a long time with P-Diddy to be signed with Bad Boy and eventually put out material. It was supposedly the reason for the long gap between his solo release and the new Hi-Five group that he put out. Also some close to him stated that he knew he had struggles but he just couldn't break free.

Man....I recently listened to the Hi-Five Greatest Hits....:bawling:
Mane those boyz were good...
