He was questioning what was the deal with the rumors flying that Latinos and Mexicans were going to vote for McCain.

There were three to four Latino/mexican callers who called in and admitted that it was because of his color and that Latinos and Mexican have a serious race problem similar to how blacks did (this is probably before you were conceived) during and immediately after segregation.
 
Didnt catch the show....but I can believe it......my uncles and aunts were conceived in the late 30s and 40s....and I'm sure they got it on both sides being that they were both latino and black.......in our previous discussion I was saying that some African Americans have the same feelings toward Latinos that Latinos have toward African Americans.....I only say this because I have seen it and heard it from my relatives.....I have never understood it but its there.......
 



Well from my experience, perspective and from what I've heard It's has always been that way.

When you look back in history at some of the great athletes like Roberto Clemente, Juan Marashell (sp) all these guys although they were what is now known as Hispanic, drew to the black community because of the darkness of their skins.

All you have to do is look back into history, where the Spaniards were actually the main driving force in kidnapping Africans and selling them here and it really shouldn't be hard to understand where the animosity and supremacist attitudes come from.
 
I'm not surpirse by the attitudes of those wetbacks and spincs at all.. Because there plenty of cubans and mexicans in florida, ohio and other parts of country would rather vote for whites over black person..
 
Maybe they are still upset that the Moors occupied Spain for two century, which is the reason why a great deal of Spaniards are Black. Maybe that is also the reason why most European communities does not see Spain as a true reflection of Europe.
 
In South florida I find that Latino's and Hispanic who aren't from Cuba or Europe tend to lean toward Obama. Down here older Cuban make no bones about there racism, man they're worst than white folks with that sh!t. When I first moved here it seemed like I was cussin one out everyday either them or a Haitian mofo.
