Due to an increased volume of derogatory and inappropriate posts on the Gateway Football Conference Message Board, we are discontinuing this service. We apologize to those who used this vehicle as a valuable exchange of information.


Now I understand why you're over here trying to smack with the big boys. They shut that crappy azz Message Board down huh?

Sorta like how GSU would shut down your offense [size=4.5]IF[/size] yall got enuff nads to come down and play. The Gayway Conference and all it's lames are SAD!

That board went down a year ago, long before TWC was postin' anywhere. We have other boards that replaced that old sh*t looooong ago. It's probably an indication that they was better smackers than you but 'the man' was less tolerant than he is down there ;) . I come here because I enjoy you guys.

As such, regarding football you can hike your anorexia-addled receivers and Prince-lookin'-ass linebackers and your okey dokey, slow as a pokey, rumbly-tumbly, Winnie the Pooh-shaped ass offensive linemen up to da Gates for some bruisin'. Our Dome awaits............

Just post one thing for me: Just say, "Good luck, Panthers", for me, please? That might be the one little thing the Cats need tomorrow afternoon. I wanna know that despite the hard smackin' we been doin', we're still tight. You'll make TWC the happiest guy in PWCland! C'mon, whaddaya say, Biggsy old pal!?

Let there be no mistake...I ain't you phugging pal. For one thing, I don't trust no over steroided, One day NFL Camp cut, WWF wrestling reject who happens to work with/for no dayum Jaguar.
For another thing, as far as I'm concern the college football season ended when GSU won the SCG. Me and Bin Ladin's bed wench could give a greasy rat's azz about the GayWay Conference or the D1AA playoff joke.

It's like this===> We don't need the NCAA! What does the NCAA do for GSU, the SWAC, or BCF. Do we gain any additional revenue from being in the NCAA's? Does the NCAA take any of the money made at the expense of the athlete and return it to the member schools? Does the NCAA support the growth and development of our conference? The answer is hell no! The biggest payday for our athletic budget is the Bayou Classic. Instead of applauding us for making this one of the biggest games in all of college football, the NCAA has deemed this to be the weekend to start the "playoffs". Fine...WE DON'T NEED ISHT FROM THE NCAA! By omitting the conference with the largest attendance total in all of D1AA and the two perennial leaders (SU, JSU) plus top-drawing GSU, it's the NCAA that loses out!

Graduation rates? TWC, you are one ignorant white boy. Before going there, you should have taken time to LEARN that GSU is second to only Tulane in the state of Louisiana in graduation rates for it's athletes.

I knew I could count on you. Your little good luck wishes might have been that little thing floating in the air of the UNI-Dome that triggered that second-half outburst resulting in the complete demolishment of the Black Bears! 56-28.
Talk about a PWC, TWC was sitting in his seat 29 rows up, on the 40 watching Maine come in to the Dome. It looked like a Hitler Youth convention.

You know, Biggs, I've come to realize you could be right about that Buy You Classic shiznitt. But there's gotta be a middle ground. Can you play the game on Christmas Day, or the weekend after you're bumped out of the playoffs?

Very few beat Tulane, no doubt. But, you hurt your argument by mentioning the state of Louisiana! I'd keep that under yo' hat!

As I mentioned in another thread, religion and family is one thing I don't smack about. There is an unwritten rule around here that you also do not smack a school's academics. That's partly because such things are unprovable and even if so it is just mean spirited.

However, I must say that I am proud of GSU's graduation rate for not just athletes but all students. I don't know what the policy is in Iowa, but in Lousiana GSU and SU are the only two schools with open admission. I believe SU is going away from this in upcoming years. This is significant because GSU accepts some students who may not be able to attend anywhere else in the state (I'm not just talking athletics). In some instances it might require remediation. But these students are allowed to interact with their peers and schoolmates, take advantage of tutoring, the fact that we have low pupil/teacher ratio in the classrooms.

After completing all the requirements (plus the remediation work) many of these people are hired based upon aptitude tests, interviews, or board certified tests before they are allowed to graduate in those fields. Our education departments, Nursing School, and Therapeutic Rec/Rehabilitation Counseling are examples of this stipulation.

JUST ANOTHER REASON WHY I AM SO PROUD TO BE A MAGNA CUM LAUDE GRADUATE OF GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY!!!

Yes, their attendance did break 8K, MIKEBIGG.......
They had an attendance of 9K....there were Nine "Klansmen" there !!!:D :D :D
