Malcolm send help!
Hey Jaguar Nation ... At what point to do you realize that ...
"You've been hoodwinked. You've been had. You've been took. You've been led astray, led amok. You've been bamboozled." ?
... you should know that Grambling is not impressed with these glorified practice sessions you are now calling football games. No matter what the score is, these games( Allen and Lincoln) will not help you get ready for this years Bayou Classic. Come to think of it... nothing will. Hell, I'd want my money back. Yet they tell y'all, SUcks is ready to play LSU next year. Y'all trippin!

Jaguars pound NAIA foe Allen with ease

Southern quarterback Quincy Richard threw five touchdown passes.
Even the coaches knew this one could get ugly. And they prepared for the scenario accordingly.
Before Southern University, ranked 18th in Division I-AA, punched a 65-0 clocking of NAIA independent Allen University, the head coaches agreed the second half could be played with a running clock if the game started getting out of reach.
With Southern up 44-0 at halftime, that was clearly the case, and the clock ticked relentlessly in the second half, only stopping for changes of possession. Tick, tick, tick.
Kevin Moffett took 13 seconds to ignite the rout by returning the opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. And with James Vernon adding a 68-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter and quarterback Quincy Richard matching a career-high by passing for five touchdowns, Southern (8-1) romped Saturday night before a season-low crowd of 11,642 at A.W. Mumford Stadium.
"It was about what I expected," Southern coach Pete Richardson said. "They have a young team and were excited about being down here. We played well."
Richard, 19-for-28 for 263 yards, didn't play after throwing a 14-yard touchdown pass to Lionel Joseph. But that score set the school's single-season passing marks for yards (2,260) and touchdowns (24).
"I was concerned there for a while, because we needed a chance to get our offense and defense off the field," Richardson said of his agreement with Allen coach Sherman Simmons, a former secondary coach under Richardson at Southern. "I knew it was going to get one-sided, so let the clock run so we can get the game over."
Southern got its second shutout of the season and its biggest rout since blasting Prairie View 63-0 in 1996, which was also the last time the Jaguars had two shutouts in one season.
Allen (4-5), in the second year of reviving its football program after 33 years away from the gridiron, crossed midfield just twice all game.
The Yellow Jackets' best drive came late in the first half and reached the Southern 21-yard line. But SU linebacker Tarus Morgan held Javon Mitchell to a 2-yard rush on a fourth-and-3.
Still, despite Southern scoring its most points in a game since a 68-6 win over Prairie View in 1995, Richard was far from pleased.
Among the lowlights: The Jaguars took over twice in Allen territory in the first quarter and failed to score both times, with Richard throwing only his sixth interception of the season.
Plus, Richard, who hadn't been sacked in September or October, suffered his second and third sacks of the season.
"It wasn't one of our better games," Richard said. "We have to work on our execution more and get better in practice next week."
However, while rebounding from a 36-34, last-second loss to Alcorn State a week earlier, there were plenty of bright spots for the Jaguars.
For the offense: Lashun Peoples ran for 126 yards and seven different Jaguars scored touchdowns. Vernon scored twice, also catching a 3-yard touchdown pass. Chris Davis had 99 yards and one touchdown receiving. Alfred Ard caught two second-quarter touchdowns and had 59 yards on four catches. The offense easily moved downfield on its longest drive of the season, a 93-yarder that took nine quick plays.
"We just executed tonight," Joseph said. "But just like last week with the loss, we have to come back Monday ready to work, forgetting about this game."
And for the defense: Allen didn't convert a third down (0-for-8) or a fourth down (0-for-1). Southern recovered three fumbles and tied a season best with three sacks, including one for a first-quarter safety.
All told, the Jaguars outgained Allen 487-138, with the Yellow Jackets getting a meager 29 passing yards (19 in the first half). That yardage disparity was worse in the first half, 327-95.
After Moffett broke the only kickoff return the Jaguars saw all night, Richard found a wide-open Davis in the middle of the field for a 43-yard TD pass on a third-and-15 for a 14-0 lead with 10:51 to play.
After misfiring on its next two touches, Richard threw scoring passes (3 yards to Vernon, 22 to Ard and 30 to Ard) on its next three drives, laced around Vernon's punt return for a touchdown, as the Jaguars led 44-0 with 4:44 before halftime.
LAGNIAPPE
Southern Athletic Director Floyd Kerr said Southern and Allen are tentatively set to play again Sept. 4. ... Southern junior DB Victor Phillips (hand) and senior DE Kevin Young (ankle) did not play. ... Southern equipment managers Dorrian Middleton and Michelle Peters worked the opponents' sideline for the first time this season. The two helped Allen with the coaches headsets, which belonged to Southern.
