I remember Obama saying during his first run at the White House that if union workers were given a hard time by the suits, he would be in the picket lines marching alongside with them. Dude was nowhere to be found in Wisconsin or Chicago or any other city where there was a labor dispute.

Not trying to defend Mitt or bash Obama, but all these cats out here be spouting off to gain support. LOL.

I don't agree with all of the Drilling Regulations that have hampered jobs in the Petro Industry...the process needs to be sped up. Too bad the Republicans refuse to work a deal... Obama could say "Go ahead and build the Pipeline" and these Republicans would block it. They don't want jobs... Hell, they even blocked a Bill to give Jobs to returning veterans.

Because every Republican in office and their mouth pieces i.e. Limbaugh, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Ann Coulter. Have all said the job of Republicans was to make Barack Obama a one term president!!!

So how do you pass a budget and barely pass a healthcare plan with people like that. And then complain that Obama doesn't know how to reach across the aisle.

Dude, Imma say this for the last time. He did not pass a budget when he had a Democrat majority!! He passed Obamacare....why no budget? He got an item passed yet refused to pass the very means to pay for it! Wtf, does the mouth pieces opinion have to do with any damn thing, especially since he passed something they were openly against anyway.

The republicans were self-check, they couldn't stop a damn thang. He passed it with no fear of reprisal....yet in the entire time he had a dem majority, he passed no budget.

Again, you guys continue to make excuses and can't answer a simple damn question. I asked a couple democrat politicians here the same question, at least they gave me somewhat of an answer......

"The Congress and the Senate Dems didn't want to pass a budget because they knew the people wouldn't approve of it and we would have had to make very unpopular choices. Dems weren't willing to do that because they knew elections were coming up and they wanted to secure another term, hoping the people would forget the decisions they made for the subsequent elections. They lost a lot of seats as a result of not making a budget decision and lost the house as a result."

They basically punted inside of the redzone instead of even trying for a field goal on 4th and 1 to win the game.

You guys' answers are the only reason I would like to see the Pres. get re-elected. I want to see what you guys will come up with next as excuses.

You know it is political hardball out there and I would suspect you are right in that the Senate and HOuse did not want to pass a one sided budget during the first two years. The president wold have raised taxes on the weatlthy and cut military spending without reigning in SS. Conservatives would have ran with it for a bigger election win in 2010. NOw that Repubs have the house, Obama can blame them and be seen as fighting for the cause which is where his most comfortable.

mak, I thought you were going to ask about the 90 billion to Solyndra and green jobs. I was quite upset at Obama's performance at the debate. He looked like the empty chair that Eastwood talked about. He must do better than this. he is making it hard on us!

You know Reagan showed the Republicans how to really steal money by re-directing funds from programs like education into the military budget. Some of us on here probably would have never gone to college if it wasn't for the GI Bill. All they need to do is create another boogy man in this world and let the stealing begin. Who do you think empowered Saddam Hussein during the Iran/Iraq War and Bin Laden during the Soviet Union occupation of Afghanistan? If they are good enough at hoodwinking the public again, they just might re-commission those three outdated WWII battleships so they can really steal some money.

Exactly! But all you hear from the left is how the Reps. don't want to work with anybody. Hell, they didn't even work with themselves. I feel they want to play the role of the victim and not provide any solutions. They simply play their voter bases' extremely short memories.

Romney and Repulicans would love to hide monies in the military so they and their big business buddies can steal the monies without any explanation since it is the military budget. Romney wants to recommission those outdated battleship.

I think we had a similar debate three or four years ago.
 
Mitt has to be the worst candidate in history. He looked like he was sleepy and tired. He was more dazed then Obama in the first debate.

Based on CNN's "scientific" poll Obama won the debate 48% to 40%. Also Wolfe Blitzer said that usually more Republicans watch the debate over Democrats. So the poll is predominantly based on Republicans.
What does that say about Mitch?
