Hey Get Ready Please Explain

Inspired by board member "Get Ready"! Don't come in if you can't take the heat! Looing at the Smack Board and noticed this quote.

When I came on the board a few years ago the JSU Mafia smacked everybody from students and ran most of the females smackers to small talk.

GR, please let me know if Chief Running Clock is responsible for the JSU Mafia demise.

I am wondering if you all could ever win the best Smacking Team /award again. But, then again will your football team ever win the East again? If everyone had the spirit of TP then the future looks bright. Now I am taking a few days off the board and would like for you to explain or if you cannot someone will have to help you explain.

I can remember when you were harder on SU than the band fan, but those days are gone forever, just like Tiny Tiggers.

BTW we are not going to single out any team as our To Beat Team List.

What is wrong with you people? Do you have a self esteem problem? Why are you letting Coles spit on you like this? This man publically stated....."Im happy where I am....for now." Thats after finishing dead last in his division.....but he is happy with you for now.

Here is a guy that you pay 130K per year. You set him up (Im sure at his request) with the easiest schedule in DIAA. In return, one year after giving him everything he wants, he choses to blast you and the students every chance he gets and he tries to come across as being unhappy with ASU. Not only that, he finished dead last in the east. He is the Prairie View of the east. He hasnt recruited one soul worth talking about, and to be honest, your outlook is cloudy. On top of that, he will be in Jackson next week to interview for another job....again just one year after you gave him 130K.

He acts like he did you a favor by accepting your lowly job....Is it me, or is he acting like he is just passing time in Montgomery? You gave this guy a job after he got fired from TSU.....Its not like he had a lot of options. The dude just got turned down for his dream job and he was out on the street. But you simps are just sucking up any crap that he dishes out.

Now I could see if he had you guys in first place, or you had a bright future, but you guys are dead last and its not going to get any better anytime soon. But again, you guys are kissing his ass like me on Jennifer Lopez.

I guess my question is....do you have any pride? Im taking into account that you are just Bamians and you simpletons have a history of letting people go up in you raw....but do you know when you are being taken advantage of? This is none of my business, but I hate to see black people being misused. My people perish for the lack of knowledge, but you cant use ignorance of an excuse anymore.

I hope you guys get some backbone, brains, nutts...anything that will make you say......... "Enough, either this guy is going to respect us while he is here, or he can leave. Hell we are in last place anyway." At least thats what I would say...but then again...I have pride.

All you have to do is replace Bama State with jsu and Cole with Bell and you have the last two years of jsu in football. Only difference is that no one wants to interview or even hear Bell's name mentioned as a potential candidate for a job at their school.

TP, do you have any self respect left? If so, you need to go find GR and sit there next to him with your mouth closed. It's sad when your post continue to come back to haunt you. First it was talking about Bama State and you came with Bell and he had a 2-10 season. Then, you tried to smack SU and gained a whole dayum yard. Then, you opened your mouth at us and the clock never stopped running. Thought you could bully UAPB and they put they foot in your arses for your Homecoming. Things pretty much repeated themselves again in 2004, except you prayed your way past UAPB and Grambling was not the Grambling they had been without Bruce.

Dude, look at what I just typed. I didn't even mention that you had close calls with Texas Southern (The miracle run of Scoott Morris in the Astro Dome) and Valley (The fight for who would be last in the East).

I'm getting :( just thinking about what's gonna be your excuse for Bell when the season starts.

The Great One didnt read all that was written. Get Ready will acknowlegde that he did look in this thread. The Great One doesnt understand the point here, but Big Daddy Long Stroke rarely does.

What Get Ready is trying to do is to get you people on a higher level of thinking. Most of you have been down so long and the man has been beating your brains in for as long as you can remember. You have been trained to think that you are a second class citizen. In the SWAC and in the realm of life you go into situations with a 50/50 attitude. Its very hard for GET READY to break you from this loser mentality, but if its the last thing The Great One does, it will get done.

"Where there is no vision the people perish." Get Ready has never seen such a conglomerate of people with NO vision. But what is even more worse, you people have NO imagination and that makes Dean Big Brother Almightee sad.

Obviously you don't know Bruce Eugene. His presence in the huddle (calmness, direction) and on the field (defenses schemes toward him)makes a difference. Do you think AAMU would have played Grambling the same if Eugene was in the game? Against aamu Landers threw for 182...in 2003 Eugene threw for 434. In 2004 Grambling had 236 net yards, in 2003 Grambling had 504. Like it or not a smart QB, with a strong are and a great touch that can also run makes a difference even when Freshman receivers are dropping balls. But you already knew that.

Well I know if they would have caught HALF of his wide open passes he would have had at least 400 yards passing.... the receiers were good at getting open and Landers was good at getting them the ball, but they would drop wide open passes... some would go straight through their hands, others would hit them in the shoulder pads.
 
Let's not forget those FAT, SLOW, OUT OF SHAPE O-Limemen. I'm tellin' ya them doughboys run a sub-6 forty.
 
Those are the same slow linemen that we have had the past four years that we lit that defense up with. So, your point is mute.
