Fellow SWACers, Mighty Hornet left Legion Field Saturday afternoon heading to Minnesota to Ice Fish and ride his new snow machine. After seeing Kennedy fumble twice, he could not take it anymore and kindly took that "Stinging Bee" hat he promised to give me and left the stadium packed for the winter.


He may return to the board since LC signed his new contract.
 
I guess Kennedy fumbling is akin to Scotty dropping the Chalupa......

I hope he dressed warm.

I saw the ticker at the bottom of ESPN read Bama St. 31 Gram 24 at the end of the 3rd Qtr. and I thought they had some hope.

Poor Mighty Hornet.............

Ice Fishing?

Did someone say Ice Fishing?

Now that's what TWC calls sport! A little shack with a propane heater and a battery-powered transistor radio that only picks up that classic country station in Bemidji, all on three feet of ice at some lost lake in wooded northern Minnesota. A cooler of Blatz beer, a microwave burrito and a couple subs from the Handimart, a bag of elk jerky, a tightly-rolled jay, a tin of Kodiak, a bucket of minnows, a July 1999 copy of Hustler's "Barely Legal", a box of tissues and three bags of Cool Ranch Corn Nuts. Ahhhh, the memories are coming back to this northern boy......

I have a question about ICE FISHING?

Why would anyone want to go fishing for ICE? What do you use for bait? I prefer to get my ICE at the store or make it in the freezer. By the way, is there a Tag Limit on ICE.:D

But those damn, cool ranch Corn Nuts are da bomb !!!

But since you mentioned "TIGHTLY ROLLED-JAY'S"
Some Chedder Cheese BUGLES, FUNIONS and Chocolate ZINGERS would be the only thing that would feed that "Baked Binge Hunger" :D :D :D

Well, after spending all of Saturday night ice fishing, I'm back. Didn't catch anything but I did a lot of thinking. I know the HORNETS will be back! I know this!!!!

Tell you what 86, why don't you meet me in Bham to see the HORNETS win the basketball championship.

btw, for some strange reason, I can not remember who we beat for the title last year. :confused: :confused:

Besides, its basketball season now and the HORNETS are head and shoulders above everybody else in the SWAC.

Thanks for reminding me who the HORNETS destroyed for the basketball title last year. I had forgot. :snicker:

The last time I checked, we went to the playoffs. Was that in 2000? I thought that I saw them on B.E.T. playing. I coulda sworn I saw them. Did you see them?:confused:
