Herschel Walker

Interesting. I mostly agree.

I just believe "conservatism" in America has always opposed our self-determination out of pure hatred and white supremacy. Whether that be the Democrats supporting slavery, Dixiecrats supporting segregation and second-class citizenship for Blacks, to today's Republicans supporting a return to those times - or at least for us to accept the systemic racism in America without opposition or complaint. No matter what iteration of "conservatives" in America they have always been white supremacists.

Blacks having some conservative beliefs is one thing. But to advocate for or support openly white supremacist systems, organizations, and people is something completely different.
There is no disagreement between us.

Brother, a lot of stuff I've said and done over the years has been unfair. Many times, intentionally so. Meant to shock, rile, offend, or provoke people.

Something happened last week that showed me I really need to dial that down. If not stop it completely.
No sirrrrr. No censorship and no filter. You are spot on more than off. Great thinkers cause other great thinkers to think.

I'm from that itty bitty you previously described and knew where you were coming from. Wasn't offended at all because there is some truth in it. Saw it firsthand.

That was back when conservatism was pretending to be "kinder and gentler". They were still reeling from the backlash and losses of the Civil Rights Movement. So, they had to dial down the rhetoric of their forefathers. Allow a kinder and gentler Black man to coexist with them. Still, it's naive and disingenuous to say Colin Powell didn't support the administrations and actions of white supremacists. Simply because he never SAID anything objectionable.
Oh I agree. He was a supporter of Bush Sr. Just stating he wasn't with all of the self hating Candace Owens and Silk Diamond types.

So let me understand this thread if a black person is of conservative thinking (a republican) they are an "Uncle Tom" or "Aunt Jemima"!...Rolling My Damn Eyes at all of you!

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but that is not my line of thinking. It is the support of Donald Trump, is what I have a problem with. But anyway....

Thanks.

There was always a method to the madness. I long ago learned that passive people rarely do anything of note. Passionate people, on the other hand, are much more likely to take action - even if it's just to think.

Sometimes I just take things TOO far.
Keep putting the best version of you out there so we can comment accordingly.

Don't start this. I've seen on many Black forums and groups across social media this is not a battle you can win.

Will go down like Denzel in Glory

If you call yourself a "Conservative" and openly support this regime, you are a c___.. Plain and simple

They do not like you nor respect you

Black people are naturally conservative for the most part but most don't support this mess. There is a big difference

No he is an Uncle Tom because this big sissy wants to disparage black folks for butter biscuits. He is an disgraceful flaming sellout that believes this shucking and jiving is going to give him the white man’s praise.

Exactly.

And we like DCG. :)

That's just not the battle she wants to fight. Here or elsewhere.

See below as to why people are giving her the blank stare. You can NOT call yourself a Conservative or Republican in 2020 and openly support what's going on at the national level or you will get the Tim Scott/Hermain Cain/Sage Steele/Ben Carson treatment. The Colin Powell type of Republican was bad at well but at least they got some type of limits. Th previously mentioned types have none.

If you're a Republican, you're supporting white supremacist ideals under the guise of conservatism.

These protests were in the news after he decided to go to Georgia in 1980.

During the reports of the protests, I remember no mention of his name and do not remember reading or hearing about him being in any of them.

Bruh, hold up!!! I see now what Herschel is doing is not about conservatism or even being 45's so called friend.

The late Dr. John Henrik Clarke commonly referred to people like Herschel as professional white azz kissers, and it seems Herschel fits the description effortlessly.

and because of this you're more than likely a Black Republican c**n or n***** bedwench who loves their White Daddy. These type of blacks love extra butter biscuits and sweet pies from Massa. A c**n with money has lesser value than a dirty foot redneck from the backwoods but yet black Republican coons strive for acceptance all your life from yo white raggedy azz daddy! Coons don't realize white folks hate them the most for unloyalty to the black race being a complete sellout.
