Hero Sports: Majic City Classic Tailgating rated #9 in Best FCS traditions





This is all we care about. Who barbeque the best chicken, who bands dance the best, who outfits looks the best. We dont try to build up our programs, just stunt on people and look ridiculous.
 
So, speaking of this. UAB looks like they're finally going to be getting away from Legion Field like they've wanted. What else is played at Legion Field other than the Labor Day Classic and the Magic City Classic? Before long is it going to be worth maintaining the stadium just for those 2 games considering it's already a good wind gust from collapsing?
 
2kool, who has more SWAC titles?
Trudog, when was the last time AAMU won the East any how? JSU won it's last East in 2013.
Alcorn's won it the last four years, so where does AAMU fall in?
Now when did AAMU win it's last title and how many overall SWAC titles do they have?

new downtown stadium will hold 55k. I'd expect the mcc to be there along w/ uab football...the main tenant. sure the city wanted it to be that large to accommodate the mcc. on the other hand, there are going to be a lot of empty seats at uab football games.

..the stadium should hold 65k at least imo..what's an extra 10k? Why limit the attendance of a game that would reach 75k plus on a sunny classic day..72-73k was the 75th magic city classic attendance...also with the new stadium .."classic tailgate experience" will no longer exist along with this type of ranking.

The stadium will hold 45k. 55k is what the possibility of expansion is. That's kinda why I asked the question. Doesn't seem like they're factoring the MCC into it at all or they would've gone 55-60k from the start so, what happens when the new stadium gets built? I honestly dont see them maintaining legion field for long afterwards.

The proposed stadium will hold 45k, it is expandable to 55k. There is not any area for tailgating, very little currently for parking. There is no need for ASU to play in a 45k seat stadium when we could make more from this game on our campus at that point - actually we could make more now but thats a whole 'nother discussion.

Relevant? If the Fried Chicken, Chittlens, & Jerri Curl Classic meant anything to anyone outside of Bama, then you would have a point. But as it is, your programs are in shambles, coaches are leaving to coach at D2 schools, scandals are the norm, NCAA live on y'all campus, Joe Reed was the best y'all had, y'all have sports banquets on football fields while serving barbecue sauce in Gatorade bottles; and all y'all can talk/think about is some Chicken finger licking Classic.

Uh....ok. Y'all can have that. I'll stay with graduating majority of our student athletes with honors and our APR looking good.
