Preheat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add steak, cooking 1 minute per side, turning until steak is desired temperature in thickest part.
You managed to cook your steak to the perfect temperature and get a beautiful sear. Now you have leftovers, but you know deep down that after being reheated, the steak will never be the same and could become a tough, tasteless piece of rubber.
