Texas Southern wins their 2nd round CIT game vs University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley 94-85. They move to the quarterfinals.

Game is tied at 74 going into OT. Refs called a phantom travel on TSU with .7 seconds left while a player was on his but with the ball. He wasn't moving and they called a travel.

TSU was leading by 7 with 45 seconds left. Armstrong slashes his neck like the game is over.

TSU then fouled a three point shooter and he missed free throw. ULM rebounded the ball and scored on a put back and he was fouled. Combs then missed a three pointer and it was rebounded by ULM with 12 seconds left with TSU leading by one. While driving down the court ULM turned over the ball with 6 seconds left.

Armstrong hit two free throws to put TSU up by three with 4.6 seconds left. TSU is leading 88-85.
