HBCU Basketball 2/29-3/7

Did you post this by what is showing on most sports sites? It's only showing it that way because they posted it by overall record which doesn't go with the conference record or determine the actual finish for tournament seeding.

I don't think this is correct. There is a 3 way tie between grambling, alcorn & jsu. According to the tie breaker rules, jsu went 3-1 against the other two which would vault them into the 4th spot. Now if that is correct the next tie breaker should be point differential between grambling & alcorn since they split their series. Alcorn owns that by winning the 1st game by 18 points over losing the 2nd game by 9 which would give them a 9 point advantage and the 5th spot.

In the event of a tie for seeding, the following procedures will be used:

1). Two-team ties:
a). Head-to Head competition
b). Point Differential between the tied teams if the season series is split
c). Record against highest seeded team (proceed downward) until the tie is broken
d). Coin Toss

2). Ties involving three or more teams:
a). Record between teams that are tied (Won-Lost-Record)
b). If still tied, record against the highest seed & proceed downward
c). Coin-Toss

This is how it should be:
Men
#8 AAMU at #1 PVAMU
#7 BAMA ST. at #2 SU
#6 GSU at #3 TSU
#5 ALcS at #4 JSU

Yes I did based on what was showing on most sports sites. I see now that I am incorrect, and I am glad that you brought that to my attention.

It's interesting how the women's bracket happened to fall in the quarterfinals geographically (western area teams against one another and eastern area teams against one another). On the men's side of the bracket, the Alabama schools have to travel in western territory.
