Cactus Jack Classic kicks off today with 6 SWAC schools playing each other (none of the games will count towards conference standings)

The games will also be streamed on Astros.com and on the Astros Twitter and Facebook pages. Gerald Sanchez and Butch Alsandor will be on the call for the first game on Saturday, with Todd Kalas and Michael Bourn calling those final two games of the day.

I like that we were able to close a close game out without using our #1 closer. I don’t like we let JSU stick around. We were up 5-0 with the bases loaded and got nothing , and then JSU scores 4 the next half inning off 1 hit. Atleast we played good defensively. Offense definitely has to improve.
 
Coach Barney went ahead and got that first win out of the way. Now can he beat his Alma mater on national TV
