What I saw in JSU last year and what I saw this year..Ivy doesn't scare me at ALL and I'm not even playing...
Ivy puts no fear into our secondary or middle dary or and dary folk
Like I said, yall hoping that Ivy has a 'perfect' game cuz that's the only only way yall will win this game...

he completed those passes once LA Tech took the starters out. MTSU kept their starters in vs JSU well into the 4th.

That's the other part of his game I was talking about. Thus far he's been scrambling for first downs. I'll see how that improves throughout the year.

We don't need Ivy to have a perfect game. I'm not really worried about Ivy. There are other components of our team that need to come together. Just like we went to Alcorn and whooped them..we coming to BR to whoop u!

I feel disrespected by folks putting GSU over us and we beat them 2 years str8 and we won the West 2 years in a row (should be going for our 3rd str8 title) so that right there has us/me with fire in our/my eyes...it done turned personal for me..I hope we hang 86 on them cornballs, but I'll get to that later...

Please!! Mtsu better than La tech you must be crazy! La tech won c usa last year and pick to win it this year. The only reason you say tenn. state good cause they beat yall every year. Like i said Southern, Alcorn, and Grambling would beat Tenn. State hell Alabama state should have beat them but turnovers killed them they fumbled 4 out of there 5 last possesion in the fourth quarter. Lol!! J state ahead of us in talent please!! Yall secondary gives up 197 yards a game. Like i said Austin Howard pants are mighty tight right now knowing that j state is coming saturday! Smh

We started a FR last year against yall and in fact, we matched him against the D will dude Lol..
So again...all this talk about how our secondary is this and that, but it's the same personal when we faced yall last year...LOL...
Put it like this...we'll be fine in that department come Saturday...

So, you are saying that we have an advantage on defense and we got special teams over you. You do know football is a THREE part game and our offense is comparable, if not better than yours. That would be 3 out of 3, with TWO that YOU gave us.
Learning defensive assignments means they are moving slower .... not good against our skill IMO.

Again that is why games are played on the field. Just because you say it doesn't make it true. On paper last year Alcorn was supposed to beat the isht out of us but what happened on the field...Exactly. You played La Tech and Valley (the team that looked like they just started football a week ago) so your secondary aint much better. Ivy is about to have a field day Saturday.

Austin spread the ball around and didn't score until the 3rd .. Ivy spread the ball around and led two TD drives in the second Quarter. Actually moved the ball in the 1st too.....Our defensive problems are fixable.. You guys have WR's playing Defense...LOL

Austin leading yall to the ship and losing has nothing to do with him being a better QB than Ivy. That just means yall had a better coached team than most of the rest of the Swac. There is a ton of video, stats, etc thats out there that can show you how Ivy is better as a QB.

Show me where I've posted that i hate Ivy or dont like him. When the Jimmy Oliver dude tries to throw him under the bus I hit him with facts. Ivy gives this JSU team the best chance to win and he has always been a good QB to me (i cant speak for other JSU people). Of course he has his shortcomings just as any other player. He took a sack in the tn state game that he shouldn't have but that one play doesn't negate the other good things I saw from him that game.
