When people speak of the enrollment at Alcorn or how the situation at Alcorn is, it makes me laugh because it shows you know nothing of how Alcorn is set up. It's located in the middle of nowhere. Not a metro area like A&T where people can commute, but the middle of nowhere.

And those Celebration Bowls did lead to an uptick in attendance. But we have only so many dorms on the Reservation to place students.

And I'm all for any HBCU moving up to the FBS level, however each move y'all keep making are lateral moves. But best of luck on that.

And Grambling and NCCU?

Grambling is a small black town in north LA in a similar situation to Ruston as Itta Bena is to Greenwood. Grambling and Alcorn are never gonna have enrollments of 8,000-10,000 and that's OK. As long as they are stable is all that matters

Grambling has had modest bumps in attendance for the past several years. Grambling once had 8k in enrollment in the 90s when we had four people per traditional dorm room. That would never happen again. While it is possible to return to that enrollment level over time because we have plenty of land, it is highly improbable unless there is a dramatic change philosophy.

So what some of y’all are saying is that NCAT is Kanye in the last verse of “Golddigger”? LOL

Carry on.

NCCU had an uptick in enrollment and applications post CB, our current leadership fumbled it. Carry on.
Also, I think people forget the run that NCCU was on in the 2010’s we 3peated as MEAC champs in football 14,15,16 and our Chancellor died from cancer right before the CB. Football coach left following the 2017 season

The Interim chancellor was named permanent chancellor while we were also 3peating as MEAC basketball champs 17,18,19 and was regular season champs in 20’. Once he became permanent and implemented some of his ideas and hires we lost momentum. Only thing we lacked at that time was a band lol.

Talking it up via social media will not make it magically happen. lol Kudos for the try though.

HU doesn't have the athletic resources, leadership, backing, facility venues, or support for such a move about the raggedy campus in the middle of the ghetto.

Oddly, I can see the current HU dummies in the leadership positions foaming at the mouth to participate in lacrosse and womens soccer locally. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Steven Gaither has been right regarding these CAA additions. His sources had him going 2-2 so far. If anything, it shows just how much these admins truly value the opinion from those Alumni that aren’t donating.

The last time that I checked, Howard U is at an 11% donation clip for the university as a whole and A&T is at 2% for just athletic donations (11% overall).

If the vast majority of alumni aren’t giving back on a regular basis, should their opinions truly matter as much as we think they should?
🤷🏿‍♂️

I hope I'm wrong but I doubt Hampton, NCAT, or Howard? will ever win a football championship in the CAA

F no lol

Maybe A&T can compete every few years but Hampton and Howard have shown NOTHING that makes you think they are gonna be remotely a threat in the CAA especially Howard who was dismantled by Hampton last year

I'm pretty sure HU's President had over 99 problems but bet cha this was Not one of them!! ;)😂🤣
One he surely didn’t want to deal with… I wonder if the Alums will protest. Everyone seems to be protesting everything over there.

We can see this from the outside but they can't. A&T's attendance numbers show this and they won't get better. Ask Tennessee State

The need for white acceptance is real
And with all that mumbo jumbo A&T's 2021 Attendance was better than 9 SWAC schools and all the MEAC.

You want to continue harping on white acceptance when the issue is piss poor leadership from the MEAC. Hence why folks continue to leave.
