Both band directors offer their input on Friday what they prefer to be shown on NBC.....they both offer some valid points and that's why we see what we see..

That's what I figured, I was only speaking from experience of when I was in the band. The directors do talk to the NBC crew about mic placement and all of that, they also offer suggestion about camera shot when make certain formation ex. "NBC"..etc..

But, IB4DJ....it's not that bad. It's not like they marched in a nationally televised bowl parade, dressed as characters within a movie, with uniforms that were giving to them by The D. Whytemen Studios or sum'n.

Uh...actually how soon we forget...SU was getting ridiculed about that for 3 weeks by non-SU AND some SU folks. So, you can't say "nobody said anything"...cuz, that's BS.

2nd....with all that, it was STILL a uniform, with SU affiliations printed on the uniform. Not quite the same.

Lol If you really want to know Soulja Boys' manager called in September saying that he would like to perform with The Grambling Band, he had a concert scheduled in new orleans on Saturday night after the game, Hurricane Chris lives in Shreveport and the dude Bay Bay that accompanies him used to be in Grambling's band and hooked that up in October and he also had a concert scheduled in new orleans on Saturday night after the game, Cupid called two weeks before the classic, his aunt works at Grambling! Cupid saw the Grambling vs Alcorn and saw Grambling Band doing the Cupid Shuffle and thought it would be a good idea to perform with the Grambling Band and O" he had a concert scheduled Saturday also in New Orleans lol! SO believe what you want about Grambling paying lol! If you could knew anything about marketing lol! Well i'm not going to get deep in that! Why would they need Grambling to pay them and they were going to be in New Orleans anyway lol! They came to Grambling to rehearse with the band also and GSU dind't pay for that so whomever you are talking to is a bold face lie and i'll tell them myself! Move on! The asssss whooping is over! Let's see what recording artist Southern has next year because Mr. Jackson is the type to follow!

Someone called you with an idea for the Classic in Aug, cuz they'll have something lined up for N.O. that weekend. And? That doesn't rule out trying to get paid by Grum (who is known for puting artist out Classic week).

An artist is from Shreveport and contacted Grum. And? Monetary gain still not ruled out.

A former member from Grum's band asked. And? We all know Grum members are about the loot and nothing else (cuz, 9.8 times outta 10, money is why you went there in the first place). So, I don't see them not, atleast, asking about getting paid. Even if, in the end, they might not have.

Just because your brother is alum don't mean he knows every detail about the band! Like Doc say why they are Southern peeps still dwelling on the Bayou Classic lol, he said he didn't have to pay anyone and would not do it, and the last thing he said is if he wanted to pay all three it's not like he could not have because the band program is very financially set!
