SU is always hating and trying to critique Grambling so hard lol! Quick to call someon country like Baton Rouge is the shat. The entire state of Louisiana is country but Baton Rouge is country and ghetto so SU peeps don't go there! What's the fu-ked up thing about yall, is you really believe your shat don't stink lol! Get off your imaginary high horse and face the facts GSU band was on point at the Battle of The Bands and Halftime. The crowd let it be knew. SU went downhill as soon as ole girl song and didn't recover afterwards lol! Then Su's Ghetto arse director gonna play while Grambling was playing that shat was very unprofessional, Dr. Greggs would never do something like that! Halftime SU drilled and that's all the bottom half of the show was boring and the only song the people as a majority knew was ADIOS, so don't get on here like SU did anything lol! Wanna Be Up Scale assss Baton Rouge Niggggas!

But you noticed they showed more of SU than GSU...lmao. Trust me NBC knew each show before they air them.. They do a run through before the game started, So GSU needs to send NBC a thank you card for not showing their goonish ways on national tv again...lol

Dude go watch da clips on nbc....WE COULDN'T REALLY HEAR U....plus when your LOUD Azz ANNOUNCERS started talkin..the only thing we heard was da Bass drum...and was it jus me..or did it seem like the Lady announcer was still talkin and da dood jus came in and started talkin over her when da rappers came out....and since we talkin...when the dancers have they lil spotlight it's for them to shine...why da hell are yall dancin while they tryin to do they thing..o yea make sure your lines are a little stright..i mean they don't have to be perfect but DAMN...are yall even goin to try to make them stright???? then yall will get the crowd to stand for yall but..they get tired because yall taking all damn day gettin where yall gotta go that gets boring

Both entire shows are on nbcsports.com

Both shows were executed. The dance routines I really couldn't understand enough to really make a determination. I wish I woulda been there, but oh well.

I turned my nose up on Gram for the tuxedo stunt, but as the camera zoomed out, I understood the statment they were trying to make. The white stood out, just like their shoes do with their regular uni.

Dude you got everything all screwed up.......gimmics to make a show is a sign of knowing you are the lesser of the two.......paying for help is an even more sign......then they did not show our dance routine on NBC only our dolls and Band members.......next they did not show our drill as they should have so that the nation could get the full effect......and even with all of that we still shined over dat shameful hot mess Grambling calls a band.....they have and always will be behind us in all aspects that count in a marching band....and that is mainly because they have no standards.....they will do anything and I mean anything no matter what it really makes them look like....no dignitiy......no shame.......

SU- halftime performance was on TV 1:53 sec
Gram- halftime 28 sec


So how in the hell can one vote if you cannot even see the entire SHOW!!!!! :confused::confused::confused: SU FOLKS STFU!!!!!

Excuses....NBC saw both shows before the game during the time run threw.. They showed what they felt was good enough to show from GSU.. they seemed to like what SU was doing and how they sounded better.. the people at home voting seemed to agree... Try again next year..maybe 20 years

If there should be a vote (and there shouldn't), I should be judge from video of each band's entire show.

Well, I don't frequent this board too often because I feel that band talk is way too subjective, and the opinions on here are way too biased to have any objectivity. But I must comment on the NBC issue. If you review every telecast of the BC for last 10 or so years, you would see that the first band to perform is ALWAYS shown more than the second band. That's just how their coverage is set up with all the other things they show during halftime. I can ASSURE you that GSU's show will be broadcasted longer than SU's show next year because GSU will go first.

Southern's sound was much better(as through the rest of the game), Sweet Escape was great. i wasn't really watching the drills because i was moving around. i wasn't feelin the tuxes though, it picked up on things that aren't seen on the usual, like girls uncombed/unkept hair since there were no hats. i think unis should be a must on tv.

Both band directors offer their input on Friday what they prefer to be shown on NBC.....they both offer some valid points and that's why we see what we see..
