Obama dropped the charges against a man who killed 17 US Sailors. You don't think this man should have been tortured for what he did to 17 of our brave sailors, and who side are you on Bluedog? I'm beginning to think you're pulling for the enemy.

Obama drops charges against Cole terrorists, victim family responds

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQTUohSzYLs

Here this crackpot come pulling out dirt old video again and now some how according to him and the Fix news crackpots President Barack Hussein Obama quit his job and became a judge.

The attack

On 12 October 2000, USS Cole, under the command of Commander Kirk Lippold, set in to Aden harbor for a routine fuel stop. Cole completed mooring at 09:30. Refueling started at 10:30. Around 11:18 local time (08:18 UTC), a small craft approached the port side of the destroyer, and an explosion occurred, putting a 40-by-60-foot gash in the ship's port side according to the memorial plate to those who lost their lives. According to former CIA intelligence officer Robert Finke, the blast appeared to be caused by explosives molded into a shaped charge against the hull of the boat.[1] The blast hit the ship's galley, where crew were lining up for lunch.[2] The crew fought flooding in the engineering spaces and had the damage under control by the evening. Divers inspected the hull and determined the keel was not damaged.

Seventeen sailors were killed and thirty-nine others were injured in the blast. The injured sailors were taken to the United States Army's Landstuhl Regional Medical Center near Ramstein, Germany and later, back to the United States. The attack was the deadliest against a U.S. Naval vessel since the Iraqi attack on the USS Stark (FFG-31) on 17 May 1987.

The asymmetric warfare attack was organized and directed by Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda terrorist organization.[3][4][5][6] In June 2001, an al-Qaeda recruitment video featuring bin Laden boasted about the attack and encouraged similar attacks.[7][8]

Responsibility

Attacks by al-Qaeda
1993 World Trade Center bombing – 1998 United States embassy bombings – USS Cole – September 11 attacks – Istanbul

On 14 March 2007, a federal judge in the United States, Robert Doumar ruled that the Sudanese government was liable for the bombing.[9]

The ruling was issued in response to a lawsuit filed against the Sudanese government by relatives of the victims, who claim that Al-Qaeda could not have carried out the attacks without the support of Sudanese officials. The judge stated "There is substantial evidence in this case presented by the expert testimony that the government of Sudan induced the particular bombing of the Cole by virtue of prior actions of the government of Sudan."[10] On 25 July 2007, Doumar ordered the Sudanese government to pay $8 million to the families of the 17 sailors who died. He calculated the amount they should receive by multiplying the salary of the sailors by the number of years they would have continued to work.[11] Sudan's Justice Minister Mohammed al-Mard has stated that Sudan intends to appeal the ruling.[12]

By May 2008, all defendants convicted in the attack had escaped from prison or been freed by Yemeni officials.[13] However, on 30 June 2008, Brig. Gen. Thomas W. Hartmann, legal advisor to the U.S. Military tribunal system, announced charges are being sworn against Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, a Saudi Arabian citizen of Yemeni descent, who has been held at the military prison in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, since 2006. According to the Pentagon, the charges have been defined as "organizing and directing" the bombing of the USS Cole. The charges still must be approved by a Department of Defense official who oversees military tribunals set up for terrorism suspects. The Pentagon will seek the death penalty.[14]

This mess is similar to the movie Crimson Tide. Bush and his trigger happy cabinet gang were like Gene Hackman and his crew. Thanks to Denzel Washington, he was able to stop overzealous trigger happy mofos from blowing up the world, which is similar to Obama's position in stopping these fools.

When does truth become too old for us to mention?

Apparently, the black mother in the video didn't get the message. You might want to send her an email and include the information above. This should explain why those sailors died and a pardon was given to the murderer; she'll listen to you Blue.

So the US caused these mofo's to fly planes and shat into building 6,000 miles away from their HOME.
These mofo's have been killing at will all over the globe since the early 1980's.

Amazing how it's alway's US that has to STFU but when these Middle East mofo's call everyone in the world that is not MUSLIMS Infidel's and call's for our death's, ya'll don't say shat.

:retard:
Players...I was agreeing with you...shut the heyal up!!! LMAO

I'm saying that we shouldn't condemn them and we should do to them what they do to us!!!! No questions asked!!

Daymn...
See...you letting Blue confuse you!!! That's what he does!! LMAO

So, let's say 20 of our soldiers are captured by so-called terrorists. Will it be okay for those terrorists to waterboard, sexually molest, pour feces over, taunt their "god", and other forms of torture?

If we can justify doing it to theirs, they can sure justify doing it to ours, and there's not a thing we can say to the world to gain any sympathy.

In regards to 911, many Congressmen, many from the media and many government whistleblowers have stated that it was an inside job perpetrated by traitors within the U.S. government, as an excuse to invade Afghanistan and Iraq, among other things. Not my words, but theirs.

In other words, 911 was an attack on our land by our own people. There's no way 911 could've been pulled off without compliance from criminals and traitors within the U.S. government, no way possible.

Like most of you people you're only concern with what goes on in the black community, when it benefits you.

My bad, you're probably "GREASING" your little girls hair now.

.....like voting for a president because he's black, or rappers making songs talking about my president is black? I think you make an excellent point Bluedog!

What's wrong with the word "greasing"? I have my own brain, and I choose and pick the words from "my" vocabulary.......not others. When has it become a crime to select and use a decent common word?

Blue, the same people sanctioning/justifying torture are the same people who supported the invasion of a country based on "pre-emptive" fear in 2003. :shame:

What does that have to do with punishing a murdering terrorist?

Hey RB or anyone, what if a 100 or so of our beloved soldiers are captured?
Would it be okay for Afghans or Iraqis to sexually molest, waterboard torture, taunt Jesus Christ, strip our soldiers naked while beating them senseless with cattle prods stuck to their genitals, starve them for days and prevent them from sleeping by blaring music 24/7?

Would it be okay for them to do such things to our soldiers, since we do it to theirs? Just asking.

You can't make someone understand soemthing they've never experienced. They can't fathom that soldiers are trained to kill and kick azz.
They forgot about 9-11 and how those innocent people in the trade centers harmed no one, but died an innocent death.

Does that extend to once they are captured? If so, we need retraining of our soldiers. What was done to those prisoners was illegal and immoral and it doesn't work. I know some will say, we got information about things that was gonna happen. I thought that's what our Intelligence agency was for... are we basing our action on what we can get from a man being tortured? I hope we're not waiting on and relying upon data we get from tortured terrorist...if so, I see why we're losing the war against Terrorism!

Good points MB.
It's my understanding that the Bush Administration ordered the CIA to commit the acts of torture, eventhough it's been proven to not be useful.

Officials: Torture Confessions Not Proven Useful

Abu Zubaida. (Photo: ABC News)
Washington - When CIA officials subjected their first high-value captive, Abu Zubaida, to waterboarding and other harsh interrogation methods, they were convinced that they had in their custody an Al Qaeda leader who knew details of operations yet to be unleashed, and they were facing increasing pressure from the White House to get those secrets out of him.

The methods succeeded in breaking him, and the stories he told of Al Qaeda terrorism plots sent CIA officers around the globe chasing leads.

In the end, though, not a single significant plot was foiled as a result of Abu Zubaida's tortured confessions, according to former senior government officials who closely followed the interrogations. Nearly all of the leads attained through the harsh measures quickly evaporated, while most of the useful information from Abu Zubaida - chiefly names of Al Qaeda members and associates - was obtained before waterboarding was introduced, they said.

I do think we should kick their azz, starve them, waterboard, blare Christian music 24/7, and etc. Remember, these are not American citizens, nor are they part of a national government, therefore terrorist have no rights under our laws. Our effective methods should be done in the dark, and America should be ignorant to the way we get our information from terrorist.

The only thing Americans need to know is their azz is protected 24/7, and they have freedom to do as they choose in the greatest country on earth. If Americans don't like the way the military handle business, then they should lead and show us how its done. We don't tell them how to live their lives, and they shouldn't tell us how to punish a criminal. I know this may seem like a hard statement, but the Christian warriors who protect and serve this great nation don't have time to sit and listen to ignorant people who know nothing about protecting an entire nation. Soldiers are trained to be rough, kick azz and kill the enemy. We are not trained to be soft and work our problems out with sweet talk. We're not anti-social and we do communicate from time to time, however we do it in a different way. I'll borrow a quote from a great republican, "speak softly and carry a big stick".

And these kinds of statements coming from a Christian?!
How does one know if the captured individuals are actual terrorists. Many of the Afghans and Iraqis captured were taken just walking along the street minding their own business and accused of being terrorists.

It seems that all our government has to do is accuse folks of being or harboring terrorists. This then gives us the right to go over and steal their raw minerals, take their land and kill their people. That's not my cup of tea cause what we dish out will surely come back on us and on our children.

Sadaam has long been gone. Why are we still over there? Bush claimed years ago that he's no longer looking for bin Laden (whose dead), so why are we still in Afghanistan?
The FBI publicly stated that bin Laden had no ties to 911, so why are we still in these countries? It's called American imperialism.
It has nothing to do with terrorism but it does with corporatism and capitalism.

What does that have to do with punishing a murdering terrorist?

That mindset led to the attack on a country because we could do so. It has been proven to be a mistake. The voters in 2008 rejected that philosophy. Now the defenders (you and others) are on this board using the same tactic of FEAR to have your way and attempt to redeem a fail policy.

To answer your question...it's about how we fight our enemy. Do we fight "murdering terrorists" alone or with allies. We lose our allies in the international community and create more terrorists by adhering to the use of torture. The era of the Cowboy mentality is over. We have to adapt to win this war against a stateless enemy.

Here's more on the war and torture connection:Abu Zubaydah…showed clinical symptoms of schizophrenia….

The report found that Maj. Paul Burney, a United States Army psychiatrist assigned to interrogations in Guantánamo Bay that summer of 2002, told Army investigators of another White House imperative: “A large part of the time we were focused on trying to establish a link between Al Qaeda and Iraq and we were not being successful.” As higher-ups got more “frustrated” at the inability to prove this connection, the major said, “there was more and more pressure to resort to measures” that might produce that intelligence….

In other words, the ticking time bomb was not another potential Qaeda attack on America but the Bush administration’s ticking timetable for selling a war in Iraq;

The Bush administration was “driven,” Levin said. By what? “They’d say it was to get more information. But they were desperate to find a link between Al Qaeda and Iraq.”

However, Lynch has since stated that she does not recall any sexual assault and was "adamantly opposed to including the rape claim in the book", but that Bragg wore her down and told her that "people need to know that this is what can happen to women soldiers.

In typical fashion it doesn't surprise me that Royal Blue would use the white girl who LIED about how she was treated as a POW. You always seem to kick yourself square in the arse.

His rationale is in-line with all the other right wing loons JayRob. Pat Buchanan (Catholic) believes in the death penalty and thinks it's right because it only affect the guilty.

His rationale is that if they're accuse of the crime and found guilty than it has to be so. This is the type of lunacy that's been in control of our country the last eight years and is the main reason our country has lost any sense of morality and it's values.

Yes, this is coming from a Christian. It's no great secret that Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, and others are God fearing warriors; God Himself is a man of war. Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

JayRob, you should ask Obama and his administration why we're still in Iraq. Hillary just made a statement that "America will stand with Iraq". This means our guys will have to stay in Iraq.

If we're over there because of "corporatism and capitalism", then democrats can easily stop it because they're against capitalism. The democrats control the house, the senate, and they have a president who will listen to them, therefore it shouldn't be a hassle to get things done because those who are for capitalism are in the minority.

If you have a problem with the death penalty, then you have a problem with God's law.

Numbers 35:19 The revenger(next of kin) of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.

Numbers 35:30 Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.

Numbers 35:31 Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction(bribe) for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.

What does Jesus have to say about murder?

Matthew 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill(murder); and whosoever shall kill(murder) shall be in danger of the judgment:

You just made a good point. They're all in bed together, both the Dems and Repubs, so these debates about which party is better means nothing. Both parties will carry on the torch for the other, leaving the people to fight and argue for the crumbs that fall from their table.

Your above question could've been asked one or two years ago, when the Repubs had control over the House, Senate and the Presidency, but they went into Iraq using false claims and outright lies in order to take, steal and kill for no reason. Seems like the Repubs were for capitalism and corporatism as well.

This seems like the only forum you make sense in... This is a point I been making...

We down here fussing and acting like it is us against them.. while they on capital hill LAUGHING... SURE they listen and watch... When they feel the people had enough, what happens.. THAT'S we they come out and SPEAK!!! Both parties does this... Then when they speak.. WE post it on here like "See I told you our(insert whatever party here) was right or is looking out for us...

Honestly, Rush is as big as problem for the American people than these parties as well... His whole lively hood is based off of cause division in the US... He has built an empire off of it....I guess people biggest down fall, is we are too eager to ALWAYS FOLLOW!! We don't think enough for ourselves...

Let me break it down for the impaired. I have a problem with crackpots who think just because a person is found guilty in our legal system it means that without a doubt that person committed the crime, So much so that they are willing to take a life for it.

Now what does the bible say about the taking and murdering of innocent life again?

As for what you're trying to pass on as God's law you're again proving yourself to be a liar and a serpent. What you posted is not God's law but man's law said to be God's law to put fear in the community.

The very last scripture you posted bare that out where Jesus mentions nothing about putting a man to death but talks about the tenth commandment and now where in the correct interpretation of the commandment does God exclusively say murder. Now God does talk about what will happen to those that change or manipulate his words.

Want to post some scripture about what happens to those people?

I took the word all the way to the Greek so you can see with your own eyes. The word kill means murder and it's clearly broken down in the Greek.

Matthew 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill(murder); and whosoever shall kill(murder) shall be in danger of the judgment:

Strong's G5407 - phoneuō(KILL)

1) to kill, slay, murder

2) to commit murder
