GSU/SJSU predictions

San Jose State has a lot of talent...D1 talent! Fortunately for Grambling we also have D1 talent. Doug Williams has recruited well over the past years...especially in the trenches.

We are gonna represent well...there's plenty of talent and good leadership from our veterans. Grambling will have a much improved running game and will give them a balanced attack. I expect a close game...Grambling 33, SJSU 32.

I don't know...it might be kinda tough for him to get his spot back. There's some good backs in camp this year. But we would welcome his experience and talent!

Notice i said pulling away late. I hope GSU represents, but the truth is I just dont think they have enough to win. I hope they prove me wrong.

Since this game will be televised nationally, all eyes will be on Doug. If Grambling has a decent showing aganist San Jose State (win or lose), this could be Doug's last year as coach at Grambling. He will be on everyone's coaching list for vacancies in the off season.

I think San Jose will pull this one out in a sqeaker.

SJSU 49
GsU 17

brugene good for about five minutes until he gets hit and lays on his arse for the other 55.

...Good Game...

..."Conditioning" and the ability of the 2nd(and in some cases the 3rd) stringers to give the starters a break...who will be more game ready and commit the fewest turnovers???

...In the end who "really" wants it more???

...ICON Grambling-----35
...San Jose State------28

:D

T46,

You going to that game? It can't be that far from you.....maybe you can scout the G-Men for us...lol

Yep, I'll be there w/tickets in hand. I've seen San Jose State play twice last year, but I haven't seen the G-Men in person, so it should be a treat.

Brian Morgan kicks a FG with time running out. GSU wins 20-17.

You better hope he gets three tries at it. 7-for-21.....snicker

This is our preseason All-Conference kicker?

Vince Patrick send help!

the G-Men Always start the season off slow. It takes them one or two games To get in to the swing of things. I see this year being no different.

G-Men 17
SJSU 38

Brian suffered through last season with a groin injury...not making excuses but it hampered his performance. Remember that as a freshman, he was named All-American.

I look for him to bounce back and have an excellent year!

I think with the returning talent and a season under there
belt, the G-MEN will be ready early and turn lots of heads
in this national win.(ESPN2)
.
I'd also hope that all SWAC'ers would get behind us as well
as the other teams playing out of conference games.....
Go SWAC
Goooooo G-MEN.;) ;) ;)
